Positive: We loved the hospitality. They take special care of their guests and the hosts are very sweet and humble. Treating us like family even helped us visit the local market and itinerary. Food was purely homemade and felt exactly like home. Amazing experience. Highly recommend.

Positive: This has been the best homestay we have stayed in during our trip around India. We felt very welcome right from the start, though be warned Google maps is currently a bit off (turn right down the little track when Google tells you you have arrived). Razia and her daughter Rahila made our stay amazing. We travelled late in the season so the water pipes were starting to freeze but they had filled an enormous tank in our bathroom full of hot water. It, literally, must have taken them all morning. It was cold (-2°C) so we had extra blankets and a hot water bottle each. We ate in the family kitchen and the food was delicious. With the wood fired heater roaring, we were very snug. Complete quiet at night and we had the best sleep of the trip so far, no horns, no dogs, no interruptions. Breakfast was a repeat of the night before with fresh home made puffed up bread and eggs or jam, washed down with butter tea. We were made to feel a part of the family and it gave us a real taste of life in the Nubra Valley.

Positive: Everything.. right from the hosts to spacious and clean rooms to the wonderful dining experience of delicious food prepared and served in Ladakhi style. Anyone who wants to along with travel experience the warm Ladakhi hospitality must give this residency a visit.
