Positive: Jamburae was awesome. Perfect location, great staff, amazing food, cool people staying there, good ac and wifi, good bed and room. I plan to stay here again next time I'm in Sorake!

Positive: Jamburae is a cosy guesthouse where you can meer nice people. The location is good, close to the surfspot. You can rent boards there and also organise lessons or a surf coach. Staff is really nice! Dinner is really good and breakfast with plenty of choice.

Negative: The outside seating could use some daybeds. There was some construction when we were there.

Positive: Very nice, friendly, relaxed vibe at Jamburae Lodge. The rooms are clean and comfortable, the garden area is beautiful, the breakfast was delicious with good variety of options, and the dinners are fresh and delicious. Lagundri Bay is all about the surf, and this is the perfect place to stay. If you don´t take your own board, they have a decent variety for rental. The best thing is that they have a private a little pier that lets you paddle directly to or back from the break, or there is a keyhole in the reef about a 5 minute walk for a shorter paddle to the lineup. All in all, we loved our stay at Jamburae and highly recommend.

Negative: The dinners maybe a little overpriced for Indo standards, but if you want the convenience of eating at the lodge, then definitely worth it for the quality.

Positive: We arrived in Nias with no expectations, but Site and his team at Jamburae Lodge made our experience truly unforgettable. The food was the best we had in Indonesia, and the warm hospitality was unmatched. The lodge boasts excellent facilities with air conditioning, making our stay super comfortable. We had incredible adventures exploring the waves and immersing ourselves in the local culture. It was the perfect mix of surfing, exploring, and relaxing. We loved Site's passion for preserving his culture, which he combines with modern but sustainable practices, showcasing his great vision for his traditions, culture and conserve his beloved home. A big shout-out to Anton, who made our surf sessions easier and smoother. Jamburae Lodge exceeded all our expectations, and we can't wait to return!
