Summary: The staff struggled with English, but we managed. Everyone was friendly and patient. Otherwise, very good value, nice facilities and an authentic German hotel. Also, very close to several attractions and public transport connections.

Summary: Beautiful old building, a lot of charm. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Parking can get a bit busy with the restaurant.

Summary: The hotel is furnished with beautiful old furniture and decorated very beautifully with old pieces, like historic chairs and phones. The hard wood floors are quite squeaky, however, I didn't hear other people move around. The service personal is very friendly. Steep stairs to get up to the hotel.

Summary: Wonderful older hotel. Breakfast buffet was a highlight of our day and very reasonably priced. Rooms are clean and good sized. The hotel is steps from the S-bahn station so it's very easy to get anywhere in the city but be aware that the street and tracks are noisy and as an older building there is no air conditioning. Also, no guest laundry despite the listing saying there is. Hotel manager is friendly and speaks english
