Positive: Don't be put off by the location or surroundings. This newly opened accommodation (two years old) was our perfect choice for an overnight stay on our trip from Meknes to the desert. The rooms are quite spacious, clean, and have a very good shower. Breakfast is freshly made in front of you – and it's generous. The owner is very friendly, attentive, and helpful. You can tell everything has been done with care – and it's worth noting that some projects (such as eventually offering meals on the terrace) are still underway. For those who want to split the Fes/Meknes to Merzouga journey into two days, this is a good place to rest.

Positive: Excellent stay at Jaddou Home in Midelt. The rooms were very clean and comfortable, the host was exceptionally welcoming and helpful, and the breakfast was outstanding. We really appreciated the great restaurant recommendation in Midelt and the extra effort to help organize a hiking guide. A special highlight was the trip with his father to visit the surrounding mines, including Ahouli. Highly recommended!

Positive: Room was very neat, including a very nice bathroom. Also nice that there was an actual heater (instead of part of the airconditioning as in many places). And the room could be made very dark for a good night of sleep. The staff was very friendly and willing to help, even before our arrival already.
