Negative: We found the rooms a little warm and our shower had very poor pressure and the hose leaked !

Positive: room size was very generous, lots of storage for clothes, bathroom facilities excellent, bed comfortable and bedlinen fresh, restaurant menu very varied and meals beautifully prepared and presented, staff very welcoming and helpful plenty of car parking space

Negative: breakfast sometimes self service and at other times cooked breakfast had to be ordered meant the uncertainty of how much time to allow for the meal, however knowing that this could happen if we stayed again we would still consider the hotel if we were to return to the area.

Summary: this was our first time in the hotel, it was ideal for our short stay

Positive: Check in was simple. More tea and coffee when requested. Additional towels when requested.

Negative: The stay was comfortable. There was confusion as to whether breakfast was or was not included. We did get breakfast on the 2nd morning in the end. On arrival, despite confirming online prior to arrival there were 2 of us staying, there was only 1 of each towel. The room looked a little tired and dated, could have done with a refurb. Overall, the room was overpriced for the lack of facilities and tiredness of the place in general.

Summary: The stay was comfortable. Building and room just a little tired.

Positive: Lovely gardens, staff friendly, breakfast was nice, great sleep, went to hylands park for festival, . But checked in on line which was straight forward. Great stay.

Negative: and very very long walk back. As no taxi took 2 hrs. Definitely need a car
