Positive: Good location for exploring the area.

Negative: On the approach to the property guests are instructed to look out for the sign to Ivy Cottage. We drove straight past the entrance as the sign at the end of the track needs re-painting. 'Ivy Cottage' in no longer readable. (I can see by the guest book that this has been highlighted previously.) Quite a dark cottage with dated furnishings. Not to our taste.

Summary: It was generally fine but simply not to our taste.

Positive: Lovely village location with nice country views. Cottage well equipped. We needed to buy towels as they are not provided. Loved being welcomed in the morning by the hens and cows.

Negative: Loved the log burner but supply of logs only lasted one evening. Sadly we had to leave early due to ongoing medical problem.
