The cottage is fully self contained with complete kitchen and laundry facilitys,2 bedrooms one with an ensuite complete with a separate shower,cast iron bath and polished tassie myrtle floors.Tasmanian oak ceilings feature throughout. Island View Spa Cottage is tastefully furnished with antique furniture. There are two wood fires,one in the cosy lounge room and another out through the French doors on the expansive verandah positioned facing a large oval two person spa.

Summary: From the moment we walked through the door we felt relaxed. Watching the changing landscape as we sat outside was beautiful as was hearing the variety of birdlife. After a day of exploring the Tarkine it was wonderful to soak in the outdoor spa bath. Whilst being so close to the township of Smithton and conveniently located to the TArkine drive, Island View Spa Cottage really felt like you were totally away from civilisation. Bliss!

Summary: The views, and sunsets, from this cottage are just awesome. Even waking up in the morning mist was special. The cottage itself was just perfect, cosy and comfortable. All the little extras (like the breakast supplies and bubble bath) made us feel really welcome.

Summary: We came from Germany to spend some weeks in Tassie. We are so happy that we found that lovely cottage. It is perfect equiped and the view from the terrace is breathtaking. We loved to spend the evenings with some pademelons outside and enjoyed the spa. Thanks for sharing this place with others. We Highlights recommend this cottage.

Summary: The peace and quiet, just the bird song, is wonderful. We loved the spa bath and sitting out on the verandah with the stove when the weather was up to it. Whilst most of the accommodation is fine we found the kitchen facilities a bit tired.
