Summary: The view is spectacular - you will love it. The host Glen is extremely responsive and works hard to make sure you have everything you need. The location is convenient to many things in Honolulu. I especially appreciated the park at the top of St. Louis Heights, which as a delightful pinewood Forest. The house itself has everything you need, although it is a bit tight on space.

Summary: Such a beautfuil layout and property! Sitting in the jacuzzi watching the sunset is the most epic relaxing wonderful experience. Can't say enough about this beautiful home. All the kitchen needs, wifi, tvs, BBQ water sport gear and each room a separate controlled AC. Plus the indoor tub jacuzzi adjoined to one of the bedrooms. Glen and Lara were amazing hosts and so responsive to any questions with such hospitality. A real Joy to work with. Thank you again Glen and Lara!!!

Summary: a party of 6 of us stayed here on Oahu for 10 days and the rental was a perfect fit. can't say enough about the view of diamondhead and the ocean, and the expansive deck overlooking it was great...we enjoyed the hot tub there several times. the amenities provided for the kitchen and elsewhere were extensive and the owners even agreed to add a food processor to the kitchen for us. getting to all the main locations we were interested in (waikiki beach, hanauma bay, and many other things) was quick and easy, and the owners always quickly replied to inquiries we had as well. absolutely recommend it as a rental for your next trip to Oahu. thank you Glen and Lara!

Summary: The property worked great for our family. Much better than staying in a hotel. It was like home. Our flight was changed to the latter part of the day and Glen made accommodations to secure our luggage and use of the van a little longer! We made some great memories on the island AND at the house. This was our first experience with VRBO and would try it again. Maybe even the same house!!

Summary: What an amazing place and what an amazing time!!! The condo was wonderful - we felt so at home. The gourmet kitchen had absolutely everything you could imagine that you might need. The hot tub and grill and washer and dryer (with detergent, stain remover and dryer sheets) got a pretty good workout - but the view, oh my gosh - what an amazing view!! Glen and Laura - the owners, were very close and answered us in a heartbeat when we needed things or had questions. The condo was so centrally located that everything including the beach was just minutes away, and yet we were out of the hustle and bustle of Waikiki when we went "home" at night.

Summary: Had a wonderful stay in Hawaii. This property has excellent views of Diamond Head and Honolulu! Owner was quick to respond whenever we had a question or concern. Loved that children's gear and a vehicle were available for our use! The property itself could use a bit of TLC. Main things to note: this space was just big enough for 6 adults, if a little crowded. Only one shower! If that doesn't bother you, the space is great for the price. Short drive to Waikiki, hikes, etc.

Summary: This was the first time we ever rented a home on a vacation, and boy, it did not disappoint! The view of Diamond Head, Honolulu and the ocean was breathtaking! Day or night, the view was spectacular. Glen and Lara were so easy to work with, always available to answer any questions, very accommodating and most of all just all around genuinely nice people. Sat in the hot tub almost every night enjoying the city lights. The home had everything we needed and more. The home is also conveniently located, close to everything. We also rented one of Glen's cars through TURO and it was super easy, great price and we drove it all around the island exploring! Would rent this property again in a heart beat! Thanks to Glen and Lara for making our dream trip even more special!

Summary: This by far has been the best vacation rental we've stayed at these past 15 years. The owners are very accommodating, this house has it all, view, jacuzzi, BBQ grill, large balcony, full equipped kitchen with stainless steel appliances, huge living room with everything you need for a big family from big screen TV to Xbox, computer & printer. My family and I came out for 8 days and enjoyed our trip very much, we loved staying here and we will be coming back for the next 15 years. Thank you, The Gonzalez Family

Summary: The first thing to say is the view from OVH is spectacular! After a week in a 3BR apartment close to Waikiki Beach, this house on a hill not far away was everything we expected and hoped for and a fabulous retreat after the hustle of Kalakaua Ave. The awesome nature of the views from the main room, kitchen 2 bedrooms and lanai really cannot be captured by the photos. We also rented Glen and Lara's Honda Odyssey through RelayRides which was much more convenient and cheaper than a normal renting as the car was ready for us at the house and we could leave it there when we departed. You definitely need a car as the walk to shops while short is quite difficult because of the steep hill. Of course that is the price you pay for the views. The cooking facilities and kitchen were first class and the X-Box Kinect provided some fun and entertainment at night with the Waikiki skyline as a backdrop. Lara had left a wonderful welcome package which was really thoughtful and useful! The highlight of our stay was on the 4th July while watching the fireworks from Ala Moana, our son proposed to his girlfriend and she said "yes". This was the perfect way to begin our stay at OVH and ensuring we will always remember it fondly.
