Summary: Cool historic building; very clean; right next to Harvard campus and a short walk to Harvard square. The breakfast was a little mid, but overall I would definitely stay here again.

Summary: This is a very old property and though it's well-maintained, it feels like nothing (furniture etc.) has been replaced in years. The bathroom was cleaned after check-out, but I don't think they consistently check it. More of a higher quality hostel than a hotel, which wasn't what I was expected. The walls are quite thin which was fine in the evening because the hotel was quiet but early risers next door talking at only a slightly higher level than normal woke me up with my earplugs in. The staff was incredibly helpful and kind, even though initially I'd been charged the wrong price and it ended up being more (maybe because of the world cup). In general, the room was clean and comfortable and had the necessities. The coffee, tea, and cookies was a nice touch. There was a fridge to store food and the breakfast had a lot of options. They had space to hang out and somewhere to keep luggage after check-out when I came back in the afternoon to wait for my flight. Stay was good.

Summary: Great place to stay. Very clean rooms, great breakfast and great staff. Walkable to Harvard Square and very close to bus stops and 10 minutes walk to T stop. Had European vibes. Just a heads up: Rooms and bathrooms are smaller compared to regular chain hotels. If you don’t mind that this is an excellent place to stay.
