Summary: I only stayed at the Irving House for one night for a business trip, but had a great experience! The staff were very kind and welcoming, and the building was gorgeous. The free breakfast was also great. If I find myself in the area again, I’ll definitely stay at Irving House!

Summary: My room was smaller than expected and a little warm, but the bed was extremely comfortable. And I had to share a bathroom, but it was always immaculate. I also never had to wait to use it, nor was anyone knocking on the door while I was inside. The breakfast was surprisingly varied and delicious for a continental breakfast, too!

Summary: I stayed at Irving House to spend two days in Boston-Cambridge before my college reunion. It was the perfect stay: walking distance to Harvard Square, lovely New England living room, clean, comfortable and quiet bedroom. Breakfast was delicious, with many choices. There is always staff, and always coffee and tea available throughout the day. It was rainy the days I stayed, but staff had plenty of umbrellas. I was somewhat concerned about shared bathroom, but there were two on my floor, always super clean, and available whenever I needed it. Overall, this was a cozy, homey place to come back to every day after roaming around all over the city. I have a mind to stay here next time I'm in the Boston area.

Summary: I really enjoyed staying at Irving house for a few days. It was reasonably priced, the location was good, and the room was comfortable. I was staying on business, but would also consider staying with my family.

Summary: The BnB is conveniently located, since it's very close to Harvard and Harvard Square. But the quality of accommodation offered is very low for the price. I realize of course that this is a BnB and not a hotel, but for the price I paid ($235 per night plus tax) I would have expected renovated interiors and a comfortable bed. Instead, my room reminded me of the room where I lived as a grad student, and the bed was quite uncomfortable.
