Positive: We stayed 5 nights in Iris Sea View Villa. The lovely hosts live in an apartment underneath and are very obliging, helpful and quick to respond. The villa is set in the steep hills above the center of town and has stunning views from the balconies and bedrooms The house is over 2 levels with stairs down from the parking area to the entrance. The parking is generous. The house is decorated with exquisite art and craft works, antique furniture and comfortable beds. The kitchen is well stocked. We recommend this villa and location.

Positive: We had the pleasure of being guests in Thanos’s beautiful villa by the sea. The house is located in a perfect spot, just a short walk to the sea, the main street, and the small center, and yet, in a good distance to watch it all from above. The villa itself is beautifu, big, spacious, and full of character, with elegant ancient furnishings, a well-equipped kitchen, and inviting balconies on both floors where you can relax and take in the scenery. Every corner of the house feels cared for, creating a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Above all, Thanos and his wife welcomed us in a generous hospitality, it seems they have always loved to have guests. And if you have the chance, don’t miss the massage, it’s adds an extra touch of relaxation to the stay.

Positive: We had a perfect stay in Sea View Villa. Its beautiful located in an old village up the hill. Comfortable beds, spot clean, well equipped kitchen and an amazing view over the sea. Thanos is a very friendly host, communication with him was always quick and helpful!

Positive: This is amongst the best accommodation we’ve had in thirty years of European travel. The villa is very attractive, comfortable and well equipped and having a dishwasher was an added luxury. It is filled with fascinating antiques and curios but they don’t get in the way. There is a balcony off the upper level bedrooms as well as a huge terrace below and as other have said the views to the village and sea below are wonderful. The ease of parking on a cul de sac above the villa is a bonus. The gifts of local liqueur, olives, bread sticks and chocolate were much appreciated and our host was helpful in quiding us to the location.

Positive: Comfortable home with a traditional feel. Lovely terrace with great views. Easy walk down to the sea - a steep walk back up - hence the the views. We like to cook and it was a well equipped kitchen. Afissos is a great location to visit the rest of the Pelion peninsula.

Positive: The house was very comfortable with everything for a guest to feel like home, and the view of the bay from the balcony was fantastic. Thanos made sure we got anything we needed, let us in on local spots and took us to a boat ride to some little known beaches and coves. Although it sees a number of tourists, the town is quite different from the mass tourism resorts. I especially liked the hospitality and the leisurely attitude of the people in the town, including Thanos - you never get rushed, everything is slow, no big crowd at the beaches (except somewhat on weekends), and you get a really great vacation of the type that is not easy to find anymore.

Negative: Mosquitoes, but manageable with the combination of mosquito nets, tablets and fans.
