Positive: Extremely clean accommodation with friendly staff, nicely equipped, even had bicycles to use in the area as well as iron when we requested it. They have information on everything and the cleaner did an excellent job, I hope the owners take good care of her. Close to the beach, where there were umbrellas and sunbeds for free.

Negative: The breakfast was unappetizing, and the coffee was awful - it was like drinking water; it would be nice to have more variety for breakfast. Not so close to Preveza, you need to pay a lot for a taxi, and if you want to visit cities or sights nearby, you will need a car. Prepare yourself that people do not really speak English in the area, not even in restaurants, which was a bit annoying. Otherwise, if you want a quiet and relaxing holiday on the beach, Mytikas is for you.

Positive: I liked the location of the property. It’s like 2 minutes walk from Faros Beach. There you can watch the sunset too. It’s a hands on family run business. They are genuinely the nicest, kindest and most accommodating hoteliers you will ever meet. I literally felt at home & part of the family lol! Sonia in particular, made sure that I was completely satisfied and assisted me from the beginning to the very end of my stay there. I can’t thank them enough!

Negative: There was nothing that I disliked about this hotel. My room was nice and clean (rooms are cleaned daily), A/C working fine, hot water working, had beach view balcony. So, everything was absolutely great!

Summary: I felt at home in Irakilis Hotel!

Positive: The hotel is run by Sonia, her brothers and her mother, and they are all intent on making sure you have a good stay. The hotel is clean and comfortable, with a very good breakfast, and good advice on places such as Prevesa readily offered. We regularly went to the two closest beach bar complexes on Monolithi beach. This huge beach starts about 400 metres from the hotel but the nearest beach bar is about a 35 minute walk and the one we preferred is 50 minutes away (Blue Island). We used the (free) hotel bicycles after a few days which made the journey to Blue Island about 20 minutes gentle cycle ride with little traffic in early June. The facilities at the beach bars were good, with the bigger one having about 200 sunbeds with umbrellas, free to use as long as you used the bar / snack bar. One thing worth knowing for non swimmers is that the sea, which was a lovely temperature in early June, gets deep quickly and within 5 metres a 6 foot man is out of depth. There is a small beach within 100 metres but it lacked facilities in early June.

Positive: Sonia and family were very welcoming and couldn’t do enough for us throughout our stay, very friendly and accommodating wished we could have stayed longer. Definitely recommend, had a nice tranquil beach (evoli beach) not far from the Hotel the snorkelling was good as well just wanted we needed relaxation.

Positive: We can highly recommend this 2 star Hotel. the room has everything you need with a specious balcony and the beach is right across the road with free umbrellas and sun beds its great to watch the sunset, in addition the bed is comfortable and Breakfast has all you need. They also provide you with free bicycles whenever you need them. Location is close to Mini Markts and Restaurants. The Hotel runs by a lovely Family and they help you 24/7 what ever questions you have they are right on and pleased to help and have a little chat in English or even in Italien. Parking is available for free. Its worth a booking at Iraklis. We recommend booking directly over the Hotel’s website. Anytime again and we hope to see those lovely people again.
