Positive: I visited Villa Moby Dick with friends and my dog and it has been one of the most memorable holidays in my life. A tranquil "harbor", for everyone that values their peace and quiet while close to nature, the house had verandas overlooking the sea and a beautiful garden, with fresh grapefruit! Vassiliki, our host, was indeed hospitable and easy to communicate with, with plenty of suggestions on how to get around, where to eat, etc. Easter egg: We, also, had the opportunity to visit the nearby island of Lefkada, which is an easy 30-min ride from there. Would definitely recommend for a short-term or long-term stay!

Positive: The host was very flexible with checking in and checking out times and waited to hand us over the keys. I really enjoyed the sunsets from the balcony in combination with the sound of the waves, which helped me falling asleep at the end of the day. The garden is very nice to have breakfast or lunch in the sun, but it also offers a private place in which you can have under the stars, with the privacy and the calm you would want to have on holiday. There are also 2 restaurants at walking distance. The location also allows excursions to Lefkas and Parga with stunning and suggestive landscapes. Not to forget Acheron river and Artolithia beach.

Negative: no negative remarks on our stay. We were all very happy with the house and the location

Positive: This stay was an incredible find. I stayed here with my partner for a few days, and we loved the sea view and sunsets ☀️ There are two really nice restaurants in a walking distance, and the garden was bigger than I expected. We enjoyed the fresh fruits from the trees from which we made homemade grapefruit juice. The home is an ideal base for excursions to Parga, lefkada, Acheron river and many more. The owners were very flexible with the check in and check out, super nice and friendly people :) The kitchen has all the appliances to cook at home when you don’t fancy to go out, it was simply perfect! It really made a difference in our vacation. We’ll be back :)

Positive: The location of this place was amazing! Great view as it is right in front of the sea:) such a big garden with fruit trees and a huge terrace great for the sunset in the sea. The house has a lot of space and all the utilities we needed. There is even space in the garden to park our car privately for free. We had such an amazing, relaxing time. Hope to be back soon in this lovely peaceful place!

Negative: Honestly it was great. Especially if one is trying to avoid loud party music at night . There were a couple pretty nice restaurants very nearby, it is easy to access everything by car

Positive: Villa Moby Dick has a perfect position if you are coming by plane because it is very close by the airport. You can rent a car or take a taxi and you are at your new home in approximately 10 min, what is perfect! The house is huge and ideal for family trip or trip with friends! Huge garden full of citruses and pomegranates that are just so good!!! We loved the position of the house that is almost right on the beach. The best thing is that all bedrooms are located to the sea so you can hear the ocean all night and in the morning you wake up with this unforgetable view!

Positive: I spent a few incredible weeks in Villa Moby Dick. The house itself is a beautiful fully equipped villa with tropical fruit garden and view of the open sea from multiple terraces. We got everything we need and I can recommend it whole-heartedly. At our arrival, everything was nicely prepared, hosts even helped us to get a taxi that was waiting for us on airport. Hosts were super nice and helpful, recommended us a lot of activities. Mytikas is a smaller, quiet village, but after exploration of the durroundings we found everything we needed - groceries, two pretty nice coffee shops and countless good restaurants. You can swim right in front of the house, nice small beach under cliff, however not ideal for sunbathing the whole day. If you want to lay on the beach, there are ones only up to 5mins from house to left or right by foot. Around 2km from house there is a pretty nice Monolithi beach where you can be in 20mins walking or 5mins by car. From Mytikas you can go to various trips by car in 1 hour ride - Parga, Lefkada beaches, boat trips to Antipaxos/Paxos or dolphin watching in Amvrakikos gulf departing from Preveza. I strongly recommend to rent a car, it’s really worth it. About the weather - I was a little bit afraid that it’ll be cold already as I’ve been here half september to october, but even on the day of my departure I was able to wake up and go to balcony just in my pyjamas :) Mytikas has pretty interesting location so even if there are storms around in mountains on the north or Lefkada, here it’s usually fine and sunny. The closest city to Mytikas is Preveza, around 10 mins by car and It’s a nice small city with tavernas, small shops and marina, where you can drink or eat something and has also supermarkets if you want to buy more groceries. If I come back one day? Definitely! As I am from more northern parts of Europe, I enjoyed this stay that helped me to prolong my summer, catch a lot of sun and live stress-free for a few weeks.
