Positive: We were very happily surprised when we discovered IntiRumi. The rooms are large and bright, the beds are very comfortable, there is a beautiful garden, but most of all everyone we met that works at the hotel was super friendly and helpful. They also have a chef that cooks amazing meals (he makes his own bread!). We felt at home during 3 nights.

Summary: Highly recommend staying at IntiRumi if you are in the Huaraz area.

Positive: We loved our 6 night stay at Intirumi! Would certainly recommend. Felt like staying with family. The nicest place we’ve ever stayed at in Peru. Loved the food, the cocktails on Friday and Saturday are well worth the trip, relaxed in the garden, enjoyed some really nice excursions and Kelly even went with us to show us the way in the beautiful surroundings. Missing it!

Positive: Kelly helped us a lot, arranging taxis and making sure we had something to eat, even when we had to leave early. The place is beautiful and clean. The chef was very good!

Negative: The location is not really walking distance to the town and with a lot of street dogs in the area.

Positive: Absolutely beautiful guesthouse. Food was awesome. Kelly was a wonderful host and Thomas provided excellent dinners. Just sorry we only spent two nights there.

Positive: The place was super comfy, with great beds and hot water all the time. The mountain view from the restaurant is nice. The internet connection is also excellent. The host helped us find rides to get to the different hiking spots.

Negative: Dogs barking all night very close to the rooms made it hard to stay asleep even with earplugs. The location is a bit off-center, but it is not really a problem, as you can easily jump on a mototaxi for cheap.
