Welcome to Sunset Perch! This hidden gem is named after the breathtaking mountain views that surround the property. It's the perfect place for groups seeking a peaceful and private getaway with some of the most amazing views on the entire mountain!
As soon as you step inside the home, you will feel welcomed by its open and spacious floor plan. The floor-to-ceiling windows offer a serene outdoor backdrop inside the home. The living room features a large peninsula-styled fireplace, and the kitchen has plenty of counter space with all the essentials you need to cook an awesome dinner. The dining area accommodates up to 8 guests.
The star feature of the home is its large and spacious deck, which boasts beautiful panoramic views of the San Jacinto mountains. There's ample outdoor seating for dining and leisure, and you can enjoy the view while you cook up some delicious food on the BBQ. The home also has a private spa, which is great to use throughout the seasons.
The home comfortably sleeps 8 guests. Up on the main floor, you'll find the master bedroom with a king-sized bed and a single-sized pull-out couch. On the same floor, there's an open den area with two twin beds. Additionally, there's an additional detached bedroom with a queen-sized bed, a single bed, and a private bathroom.

- Seasonal wood delivery: If available, there is a $25 fee per bundle (approximately 20 pieces). Please provide at least 5 days' notice for a Friday arrival date or at least 3 days' notice for any other day of the week. Please note that there are no refunds for this service.
- Confirmation: Upon booking this property through Airbnb, New Spirit Vacation Homes will send you a direct email confirming your reservation. Attached to this confirmation will be a contract you need to review, sign, and send back within 24 hours.
- Incidentals: We reserve the right to request payment for any incidentals. This includes but is not limited to firewood, pet fees, special occasion requests, personal grocery drop-offs, pay-per-view movies or sporting events, and damaged property.

Summary: Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was somewhat dirty. I was happy with the location. I was somewhat dissatisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I do not recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This house has beautiful views, however the condition of the home was inferior to what we are used to from NSVH. The house felt dirty and there was a lot of very old dirty furniture, stained rugs, cobwebs, dirty stained walls, mold in the downstairs bathroom.

Summary: The property sits on the outskirts of town. The house needs TLC. The property manager is awful, and you will need additional physical signatures to access the property, more if you are arriving after office hours and did not complete all the paperwork before your arrival. Regardless of all these issues, this property has one of the best mountain views I have seen in all my 30 years going to Idyllwild. Sunrises and sunsets are breathtaking and will dissolve away all the hassles experienced during your stay.

Summary: We spent a really good time. The view and the deck were amazing. Very cozy cabin. One thing that I have to say, is that some of the furnitures were old. But in general we love our stay there.

Summary: Let me start by saying that I stay in Idylwild a lot and like to try new places. I am never expecting five star luxury accomodations when I come to visit. I love the cabins and rustic charms. I chose this location because of the views pictured mostly but the accommodations were pretty low grade. When we arrived after picking up the keys from the property managers office. We walked into the house and the first thing you are created with is an old musty smell. Like you've walked into grandmas attic. I immediately went to open some windows to air it out. Well the sliding glass door that leads to the deck opened fine but the screen door that looked recently installed couldn't close because a very large door handle was on the exterior of the sliding glass door. There was also no handle on the sliding screen door, instead a hole had been cut out directly into the screen material so Even if you could close the screen you still have a large opening for bugs. Most of the windows need replacement. They are janky and some are dangerous. There were ants on the kitchen countertops at all times. The kitchen was well equipped with anything you might need to cook and serve meals. The beds were average for comfort but the bedspreads were very dated. The walls were dirty and dusty in every room. The deck furniture is shredded and very cheap/ugly. Even the dining room chairs has holes through the seats. I wouldn't stay here again unless updated.

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The view was perfect. Peaceful and Quiet location. Visited by a family of squirrels during the day. Song birds in the background. The road to the house is rough, but doable. The place is dated. But if you don't mind rustic, older decor, it is comfortable. The floors were very clean, but the rugs are in bad need of cleaning. The main living room, bedroom and kitchen were clean and had everything we needed. The bathroom needs work, from the shower floor that needs fixing, and the walls way over do for a good cleaning. You can't use the new toaster oven, because the electrical system is not updated enough. We rented for the location, and was not disappointed. I also needed a location that did not have stairs and this was just what we needed. Sad that this home really is lacking a lot of needed maintenance and updated paint. If the main maintenance issue's were ever addressed, we would stay again. The Management company was very helpful and pleasant to work with.

Summary: our family of six came up for a long weekend and have come home, relaxed and happy. The picture of the view you see online is even better in Person !!!!!! It’s quiet and peaceful and yet close enough for my kids to go to town for fun. The house has everything you would need comfortable beds, plenty of towels, hot showers and enough plates and dishes for any meals you might cook. The home is a great value and our family wants to go again.

Summary: Overall are stay was fantastic. We had a small hiccup upon arrival, even though on the rules/information packet states they recommend all-wheel drive, 4-wheel drive & even some chains. It would have been nice for the property manager to set up the vacation home by shoveling the driveway for tenants after a major storm occurred the prior night. In the driveway was about 1 feet of snow. Our car was able to go right up the driveway, but we had trouble with my sister in laws. We did utilize the chimney, but when we did use most of the smoke was entering the home. In addition, there was no fence around the chimney to prevent ambers from pooping out to the carpet or even the sofas. Other than that, beautiful home, beautiful scenery, well stock with kitchenet items. We left happy.
