This unique log mountain Cabin is located in the private are of Foresta at the western edge of the Yosemite National Park between Crane Flat and Yosemite Valley. This super clean, self-catering, private rental home is an ideal base camp for visitors exploring the Yosemite National Park area. There are 4 queen beds plus queen fold out couch, one twin bed, plus floor pads for extra sleeping arrangements. With the excellent location, views, all linens provided, full kitchen, satellite TV and NOW HAVE INTERNET AT THE HOME. Summary: We found the location a great place to access the park and then at the end of a long day of walking come back to sitting on the balcony with a glass of wine and enjoy the beautiful views. Our host provided ongoing information which helped us to enjoy the stay even more

Summary: The house and the property are just absolutely magical. I loved waking up to El Capitan every morning. We were able to stay warm when it snowed and there was plenty of hot water with great water pressure for showers. There was also great WiFi. The place was clean and equipped with everything one would need. Check in was a breeze and our lovely host was very responsive to my questions as a first-timer to Yosemite. I would definitely stay here again! We loved every second of our trip! Thank you, Annie, for providing us with a lovely home for the trip of a lifetime!

Summary: This was a nice cabin I would consider renting again. There is only 1 bedroom downstairs (king size bed) downstairs but there is another bedroom plus large loft area upstairs. Shower/Bath toilet combo downstairs. Just toilet and sink upstairs. There are also stairs up to the cabin. Consider that if some in your group are not able to do stairs easily. One in our party wound up sleeping on the couch downstairs because she couldn't use the stairs. The cupola on the top of the cabin is neat, but be warned that to access it you have to go up what is lot like an inclined ladder on a submarine. Tight fit for some and very steep. There is a view of Half Dome but that is a small portion of the overall view and for me not a good enough reason to choose this cabin by itself. Still, all in all, I recommend the cabin.

Summary: We really loved our stay at the Half Dome view. Space had everything we needed to be comfortable. It was lovely to open the windows at night and feel the cool breezes and sit on my deck in the mornings with our coffee and watch the amazing sunrise looking at Half Dome. There was a great hike off the property to Forest Falls and a creek down the road I found on all trails that was nice to visit on our rest days we’re not down in the valley. It was so close to the valley and other amazing lookouts so it was great for us two couples. It is a cabin so it has a rustic feel with warm wood and a long table on the kitchen to share meals. The views from the balconies were amazing and it was so peaceful!

Summary: This house has a gorgeous view of Half Dome! The sunrises and sunsets are beautiful from the 3rd floor cupola or the swing at the top of the mountain. The wildlife is in abundance, all enjoyed from the porches and the large picture windows. Annie’s a very talented artist with her artwork displayed all over the home. The kitchen was stocked with coffee and there were ample creature comforts. We’d choose this home again and again!

Summary: The view of El Cap and Half Dome from the deck is unreal! We loved this location, the drive in and out was beautiful and appeared to be one of the closest homes to the valley inside the park. The home was clean and well maintained and the owner was very responsive. We would definitely recommend staying here and will stay here again on our next trip to Yosemite!

Summary: Everything was perfect and what we wanted. First we were welcomed by very clean house everywhere, that made us super comfortable at beginning. We wanted to have a quiet vacation and the house was located in nature, we didn't see anyone, even one person around that house. Even it was super quiet area, location was very convenient that is very close to Yosemite valley - we drove every day for sight seeing, shopping, etc. We cooked every day and lots of cooking wares we needed were there in the house. And owner is a wonderful painter and we enjoyed her art pieces every day. Thank you very much for sharing your living style of art. We'd like to come back again.

Summary: This was a great home base for a COVID era getaway in Yosemite. We were only 4, but the place could sleep more. There's a great view into the valley from the front deck, a small second deck upstairs, and a "crows nest" lookout where you can get a 360 view. Well equipped (there's a wood stove, plenty of pots/pans/whatnot in the kitchen, washer/dryer, etc.). By appearance, it's a converted/updated wood cabin. We had a great stay.

Summary: The cabin was in a great location -- convenient to Yosemite Valley and other points of interest but still very quiet and secluded. Spectacular view of Half Dome and night sky watching. We happened to be there during the Perseid meteor shower, which was incredible! Had no trouble communicating with owners who were very responsive.
