Positive: It was safe, quiet and central. I was sick during my stay, and I spent a lot of time sleeping. The bedding was very comfortable! I also appreciated that it was walking distance to lots of restaurants and transportation. It was also nice that the hotel offers a continental breakfast.

Negative: The hotel is in an old building so it appears a bit run down at first. But once I adjusted my expectation, it was totally fine. I can appreciate the charm of it. (I only mention this in case anyone is expecting something modern). As I mentioned before, it was well-kept, clean and comfortable. And very central to what I needed from my stay. I would stay here again.

Negative: It is a nice little inn, but I was not happy with a number of aspects: 1) my room has no AC, and it was a warm and humid evening in SF, so I slept poorly. 2) the breakfast starts at 8 am, but I had to catch an Uber at 7:30 for the airport. 3) restaurants around the hotel, other than the steakhouse next door, all closed very early for a Sat night.

Summary: Not quite satisfied, but not all were due to the Hotel. I didn't have enough time to do things.

Positive: The location was excellent. I also appreciated the effort made to offset the lack of views — the addition of plants and decorative fountains on the brick walls was a thoughtful touch.
