Summary: Wonderful experience. Private comfortable cottage with outside sitting area. Dog friendly and short walk to patio area of restaurant which is also dog friendly. Delicious meal with great wine. Excellent service. Would definitely visit again.

Summary: It is fun to be in such a historical property. The people working there are all so nice. Our bed was comfortable and the fireplace was fun. The property could use some renovation as well as the bathroom.

Summary: This was our third time staying at the inn. We brought our whole family this time along with our dogs. We had an amazing time. The ambiance is warm and comforting. I can’t say enough about the staff. They were wonderful and friendly and made sure we had a great stay.

Summary: Remarkable Revalutionary and Civil War history. The grounds between the Inn and the river need some tender loving care; one small wooden bridge was left out of place; maybe from the last time they mowed and invasive plants such as garlic mustard are starting to move in.

Summary: A lovely getaway at the foot of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Very relaxing and enjoyable - the staff was beyond accommodating and friendly as well. Dinner at the restaurant was equally as enjoyable. The hostess and Chef made it a wonderful experience and meal. A quiet getaway. We’ll go back.

Summary: It is so cute. We stayed in the Rapidan. It was lovely but the bathroom could use some updating. The exterior needs help which is sad because it is both historical and charming. Hopefully they will get an investor to help and make it into a wedding venue to bring in additional money. The staff is beyond helpful and nice. We would stay there again.
