Summary: Our tennis team rented Janie’s Place for a tournament at MTC in Brandermill. It was a 30 min drive to Midlothian, but it was an easy drive. Our host was awesome, very communicative and helpful with finding local interests. We arrived to find a delicious pie waiting for us, which we decimated . A nice, big backyard, quiet street and lovely sun decks allowed us some relaxation between our matches. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms clean and functional. We would definitely return.

Summary: The interior of this older home is spotless and roomy. The beds were very comfortable, the two bathrooms were up to date, the kitchen had all appliances, The manager was very communicative. We are possibly returning in the summer for a stay here. The town of Powhatan is small and beautiful.

Summary: We were told it would be like staying in Grandma's house and unfortunately that was true. Just like Grandma's house much of the furniture was tired, many of the light bulbs were burned out, there weren't enough chairs for the dining room table, not enough plates, not enough silverware, no baking pans/sheets and the grill didn't work. Also, the upstairs bathroom (that services three bedrooms) is in one of the bedrooms... a little awkward to use after the people in that bedroom go to bed.

Summary: My family and I traveled to Powhatan for a wedding at The Mill at Fine Creek. The house and the town had such a beautiful small town vibe that was such a perfect place for us to hang out and get ready. We were able to enjoy the owners restaurant, which was right across the street, and an adorable coffee shop. There was also a great park nearby with walking trails and playground for the kids. We truly enjoyed our stay!
