This immaculate, breezy and bright rental is a short walk to the beach on a well maintained boardwalk.
The apartment is fully furnished, including all linens, towels, kitchen supplies, soaps, tissues, WIFI, Cable TV, and beach towels. The entrance to the apartment is from the outside and is on the opposite side of the house from the main house. The apartment is situated so it is private and not visible from the living area of the main house.
There is hardwood and tile throughout, a small 8x8 deck overlooking Great Pond and open fields. Check the map below to see our nearness to the beach. There is a luxury Inn (Inn by the Sea) across the street and a boardwalk to the beach. The restaurant (is excellent) and spa are open to the public.
Air conditioning (heat pump) is available although rarely needed in this unique location, providing a chance to smell the ocean and hear the surf as you drift off to sleep. A larger map shows we are at the head of a peninsula with the open ocean on three sides providing constant flow of fresh ocean air.
Our fully furnished rental is available year round with all utilities, parking and snow removal included.
Portland is just 7 miles away with a bustling night life and any cuisine you could possibly want prepared by top chefs. Feel free to call if you have any questions about the area.

Summary: My family and I loved staying at this apartment. Laura and Mark were wonderful hosts and the location is perfect. We enjoyed the beach and local attractions and were close enough to Portland to enjoy several trips there.

Summary: Our family enjoyed a great week. The apartment is bright and welcoming. The location is the best of you just want to hang in Cape Elizabeth or explore the surrounding area. The access to Crescent Beach, being close to the strawberry fields and the beautiful surroundings made this place perfect. It is as described and if you need anything, the owners respond quickly. We enjoyed the fire pit and grill also. Will definitely return.

Summary: This peaceful little apartment was the best possible choice for our honeymoon. It had everything we wanted: privacy, ease of access to Portland, historic sites, and the Atlantic. My neat-freak wife was SO pleased with the cleanliness and organization of the place. It was the cleanest place we've ever stayed in! The furnishings, decorations, and bedding were all very high quality. Laura was easy to rent from and very nice. Someday we'd like to come back for another stay!

Summary: Our family spent the month of July here. It was beyond fantastic. Laura and Mark (and Rosa the dog) are super hosts and very responsive. The two bedroom apartment/house was spotless, bright and had everything we needed. The atmosphere is so peaceful. Well stocked kitchen, gas bbq, outdoor deck, beach chairs/towels, kiddie pool, WiFi, and a large backyard. Perfectly located within a very short walk to Crescent Beach and a quick drive to gorgeous state parks. Portland is only 15 minutes away. By far and away the best part of 2020.

Summary: Laura and Mark's apartment across from the Inn by the Sea was wonderful! Everything you need in the apartment with plenty of little touches that make for a great stay. Walk to the beach in 5 minutes, eat breakfast or dinner at the Inn, bike to Kettle Cove to watch the sunset, a 5 minute drive from C Salt gourmet shop with excellent sandwiches and the best lobster roll we've ever had. Laura and Mark have created a fabulous stay and were wonderful hosts. Highly recommended!

Summary: I really loved this apartment; it was very easy to feel right at home. It was spotless and very cozy and warm for a winter getaway. It was very easy to get into and around Dowtown Portland, but there were also lovely local restaurants and shops in Cape Elizabeth. The property was gorgeous, even though I came when it was covered in snow. I definitely would recommend this home, and plan on coming back again!

Summary: Beautiful, clean apartment in a great location. About a 15 minute drive from Portland, and a peaceful place to come back to after exploring the city. Tons of windows and natural light. Beach access across the street and plenty of amenities around. Property owners are great. We actually arrived during a power outage, but they had a generator going the whole time so we weren’t affected by it. Laura was great about providing info via text. Would definitely recommend!
