Positive: Very quiet and peaceful. Nice facilities and loved that we could take our puppy with. The room had everything we needed and the property allowed for walks.

Negative: Neighbours were playing loud music via a Bluetooth speaker and laptop setup at the dam. Unfortunately no one stopped them despite the clear rules.

Positive: Nice setting along dam with the Magaliesberg mountains in front of you. Cottages are well equipped.

Negative: The ratings for this place on Booking.com are not a true reflection of the place. Maintenance of cottage is falling behind, as it is clear the cottages get many feet and look worn through here and there. First facility I ran across in SA where no towels are offered! Bar of soap in bathroom would be hygienic gesture. Loud music was played during the Saturday mid-day. Luckily we went elsewhere for the rest of the day, the one night we stayed there was quite.

Summary: Nice setting in Magaliesburg area but cottages need attention.

Positive: Lovely view of the dam and hills. Nice little cottage and short stroll to the restaurant. Bed comfortable and clean.

Negative: People walking right in front of our cottage was not ideal. Shower head terrible (sprayed everywhere but your body. A few more shelves or hooks in bathroom would be nice. Mould in a few places by the bathroom. Lighting in lounge area not good.
