Positive: A lovely two bedroom apartment in picturesque grounds with everything that we needed for our 10 day stay. There is plenty of parking for several vehicles but you definitely need a car as there are no shops or tavernas etc within easy walking distance. We were, of course, aware of this when we booked.. There was not one, nor two, but three balconies for our apartment, one off each bedroom, but we only really used the third one at the front, where we sat at the table for breakfast and lunch when we were not out exploring the island. We were the only guests when we first arrived so had access to any of the 4 pools if we wanted. A nice selections of supplies were waiting for us when we arrived, including locally produced virgin olive oil. The apartment is in a good location in the centre of the island with fairly easy access to everywhere. It's only a short drive into Kalloni which had shops and supermarkets, and also to Skala Kallonis, with beaches, bars and tavernas, but it is less than an hour to get to pretty much anywhere. It is set in a peaceful location with lots of greenery in the gardens which were well stocked and maintained. Our host, Alexandros, was very helpful - always on hand to answer questions if required, and to offer advice on where to visit, shop, dine etc. He even leant us some binoculars so we could watch the storks, flamingos and pelicans from the hides at the salt pans. I don't know if we will get back to Lesvos any time soon, but if we do we will look to book here again.

Negative: Nothing really. Only minor issues: The main living area of the apartment was a little small and only had two comfy seats. Not a massive problem as we spent most of the time on the balcony, by the pool, or out and about, but we could not all sit and watch the football together on semi-finals night. One of the air-con units in the bedroom failed whilst we were there and Alexandros was unable to get it fixed quickly, so we were very hot one of the nights, but we ran the main one in the living area and left the bedroom door open after that and it was fine.

Positive: The host Alexandros is very kind and helpful. The private pool of very good size and very clean is definitely a splash!! Located in a very tranquil patch of the island yet a few minutes drive from a long shallow beach very friendly to kids and families; with many good restaurants on the beach and in a nearby village. Μιμης, caprice and elements are excellent restaurants/beach bars.

Negative: Nothing significant.

Positive: Fantastic 2 bedroom apartment with our own pool, the location slightly out of Skala Kallonis is pretty and peaceful with very easy parking and picturesque gardens . A great base for exploring this unspoilt island. We enjoyed the fruits and honey for our breakfast every day and the homemade halva especially. Great birding opportunities even as late as July. Alessandros is an excellent and attentive host who could not do enough to help us and make our stay the best. Thoroughly recommend for families and couples.

Positive: - Alexandros (the owner) was extremely helpful with the check-in and check-out, as well as provided us with all the needed information. Moreover, he left in the fridge homemade biscuits, local honey and, water as welcome gifts ; - The place is quite and silent: perfect to relax ; - The garden is beautiful as well as the swimming pools are nice ; - The apartment was clean and everything was in perfect order to welcome us.
