Positive: The place was so quaint and quiet. It reminded me of Italy. I loved the two beautiful dogs. The owners daughter was lovely and helped us with dinner the first night we were there. The owner Marcello was amazing with his recommendations of what to do and he even drove us to the grocery store to pick up food. So amazing.

Positive: This lodge in the hills above Quito gave me a peaceful retreat after a busy day of travel and errands. Lieing in the hammock under the trees was relaxing. A breeze coming across the land. The family who hosts were so kind and helpful. They arranged for me to have food that fit my specific dietary needs. He got up early to open the gate for me to meet my share ride. Lovely all around.

Positive: The hosts were wonderful. Marcelo picked us up from the airport and took us back early the next day. The lodge was beautiful, including the views from the city. Our children were able to run around the grounds and play with the dogs, which was great after hours in an airplane. Marcelo coordinated ordering dinner from a local restaurant, and we had some excellent wine from his wine cellar. We just stayed one night, and it might not have been the closest option for one night between flights, but it was well worth it. It would make an incredible and peaceful stay for longer periods.

Positive: The room was amazing with comfortable beds and the best view! Marcelo and his kids are very friendly and helpful. Marcelo even took us to an ATM to get cash. The garden full of humming birds is wonderful. The dogs are sweet and funny. I liked the hike up the old volcano.
