Positive: Rukka lodge is like a little oasis in the middle of town. It's extremely relaxing and feels very serene. Beautiful outdoor area with clean pool perfect for getting sun. The adjoining restaurant Garden House has delicious options. The staff is exceptional and very accomodating.

Negative: There is no reception and gate is closed to the property so things can be tricky if arriving late at night - recommend getting in touch with hotel ahead of time so they are tracking and the guard will have key.

Summary: Perfect - will definitely stay again

Positive: Various options for breakfast but i only taken a plate of fresh fruit and black coffee . The location is excellent for me as it is only 20_ 25 minutrs to the Airport at a cost between USD 15 to 20 . Close proximity to Tunbaco market and 2 to 3 bus stops to Cumbaya ,La Scala mall or Cumbaya square or taxI for 2 to 2.5 USD . The grounds of the hotel are green and lush and there are various restaurents inside the hotel but i havnt tried . Sraff are very helpfull and all my requirments were met .

Negative: Noting i can think about during my stay .

Positive: Absolutely gorgeous property with beautiful water installations, a wide variety of plant life and plenty of room to explore. The rooms were beautiful, clean and comfortable. Consistent hot water in the showers (so rare!), considerate and professional staff, a wide variety of food options (albeit expensive).

Summary: Our favourite location in Ecuador!

Positive: Breakfast was very good, if repetitive. We had the same thing served every day. The location was excellent for us, very close to family. The large sitting and pool area added enormously to our comfort and enjoyment.

Negative: The bathroom size in room 1 was way too tight. We noticed that our room was marked as the handicapped room. It would be physically impossible to use. Our daughter stayed upstairs and that bathroom was better designed. However the bedroom was great.

Summary: Excellent stay, will do it again
