Positive: Host was friendly, accommodating and spoke very good English. The Bairo Canavese is the most relaxing beautiful area to soak in and enjoy rural Italy. We even found some porcini mushrooms in the words nearby the hotel. The food was great - fresh and elegantly served. We were jetlagged the first day there, slept in until 10 AM by accident, and the host held breakfast for us!

Negative: Nothing. I would live there if I could!

Summary: Il Vecchio Mulino is a true taste of what Italy is. Beautiful with a rich history.

The staff greeted me warmly, even at the late hour, and made sure everything was perfect for my short stay. The room was spotless and beautifully furnished, providing a peaceful retreat after a long day. Despite my brief visit, I felt completely cared for. Positive: The owner is very kind and extremely helpful. As they were not serving dinner that night, he recommended an excellent restaurant for us and booked us a table. He also arranged for me to charge my car overnight, which is really appreciated! The building is interesting as the hotel is set up in an old watermill. You can read and see part of the history there.

Negative: Nothing to complain about. We would have really liked to dine at the hotel as we were tired after a long drive but going out again for dinner was worth it as well.
