Positive: The hotel staff were excellent. Nothing too much trouble. Everywhere was spotlessly clean and well maintained. Plenty of communal spaces to sit and enjoy the grounds. Lovely big swimming pool with lots of furniture and umbrellas. Excellent service in the restaurant. The breakfast was good plenty of choice, fruit, pastries, eggs meat and cheese. We had a room on 1st floor with its own terrace. Really great hotel reasonably priced. But the staff make it special.

Negative: Very noisy room. Luckily the German speaking couple next door went to bed early for sleeping ….. Talking and flushing toilet sounded like no wall in between.

Positive: Great position to explore the surrounding area. Saverio the manager has been exceptionally accommodating with my group, always friendly and giving us great recommendations to explore the area nearby. We would love to come back for the chestnut season. Highly recommended to perspective guests!

Negative: Unfortunately we didn't get to enjoy the pool as it was still too cold.

Positive: Good hotel with good facilities and in beautiful area. Breakfast - good variety with staff very friendly. Close to Melfi if looking for restaurants and shops.

Negative: Access to the hotel grounds requires a boom to open - have to get out of your car to press the button for reception to open the boom. When you arrive/return with nobody at reception, you may wait a while and press the button numerous times to attract attention so that the boom can be opened.

Summary: Good hotel in a beautiful and central area for exploring Melfi and surrounding areas.

Positive: We liked that the manager send us cake and proseco to the room for our anniversary celebration.

Negative: Pool was closed, food was only pizza after 19.30, nothing to do in the area.

Positive: Clean, quiet, and the staff were accommodating. The dinner was excellent as well, as was the breakfast. The cheese selection at breakfast was one of the best on our five-week road trip through Italy. You could easily tell the staff cared about their guests’ experience, and we even got some help carrying our luggage.

Negative: Nothing.

Summary: Very nice stay, staff were very professional, and food was delicious.
