Positive: Vietri is a pretty and characterful seaside town which we thought has a more intimate and local feel than some of the more famous Amalfi coast resorts. In common with all of them, however, is the scarcity of car parking. So it’s a real bonus that Il Balcone can provide secure parking just minutes from the property - which itself is located right above the bustling main street (although we had no problems with noise at night, as the little balcony is well served by shutters and double glazed doors). The property was very well-appointed and spotlessly clean. All the furnishings and facilities were new and fresh. We had the suite, which has kitchen facilities so you can self cater if you want although there are lots of places to eat out on your doorstep. Before and throughout our stay Valerio, our host was very helpful with information and suggestions about Vietri, and he even booked us a restaurant for the night we arrived.

Negative: Nothing. A small point was that there was no kettle in our kitchenette. It wasn’t a problem as our friends, staying in the next room, lent us theirs. I’m sure this will be swiftly rectified.

Positive: The place is new, very clean and comfortable. In the center of the city, near to all restaurants and shops, near to the train station, only 10 minutes away from the Vietri port. The owner is really polite and helpful. I really recommend this apartment if you want to feel the amazing Amalfi coast!

Positive: This is one of the best vacation rentals we have ever stayed in! It was recently remodeled with gorgeous local ceramic tile throught the apartment, and was immaculately clean, pleasant and comfortable! The apartment is perfectly located in the heart of Vietri sul Mare, our favorite town on the Amalfi Coast--much less touristy than the other towns, and beautifully decorated with ceramic tile all over (and filled with wonderful ceramics shops)! The host, Valerio, could not have been more kind and helpful, both picking us up from the ferry and driving us to the port when we left. This is the perfect place to stay for a couple in Vietri sul Mare!

Positive: Very good location if you visit the amalfi coast. Apartment is great, it's clean, big and with everything you need. The owner is very helpful and you can reserve private parking which is a bonus in this area.

Positive: Great apartments, sparkling clean, the host is very responsive and helpful. It is located in the city centre, the available parking is 2 minutes away from the apartment and it is inside a courtyard. Highly recommend!
