Positive: Being guests in a host's house is a traditional experience in Armenia, which we were looking for, and we enjoyed it in Igor's home. He and his wife represented the famous Armenian hospitality, and we were sad that we had only a single night in Tatev. We had a very warm welcome and enjoyed a nice conversation until late with the hosts, which ended with a nice gift for my papa, which was a very pleasant surprise for him, and he sends big thanks and greetings! Despite the language barrier, Igor did his best with Google Translate :) The house was very clean and we felt at home. The breakfast was so good that it was kind of an experience. Also, Igor helped us to find a driver to Old Khot.

Negative: The hosts' hospitality was so amazing that we wished we could speak freely in English to understand more about Armenia and Tatev. Also, something to note is that the bathroom has been recorded as private in Booking; however, it's a shared one. It was very clean and as we were the only guests, it wasn't a problem.

Positive: Staying at Igor’s Bed and Breakfast was one of the most unforgettable experiences of my life. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed not just as guests but as family. After a long journey, Gohar prepared us the most incredible late-night welcome dinner, entirely homemade and filled with love. She treated us as if we were her own children, making sure we were comfortable and cared for in every way. Igor, with his generous spirit, offered us his homemade grape vodka—a true taste of their home and heritage. What truly set this stay apart was the genuine kindness and warmth we felt from both of them. They didn’t just open their home to us; they opened their hearts. We shared fascinating conversations late into the evening, and it was clear that our comfort, safety, and happiness truly mattered to them. The location is perfect—just minutes away from the Wings of Tatev aerial tramway. One of the highlights of our stay was Igor personally taking us to Devil’s Bridge. Not only did he guide us down through the caves, but he led us into the most magical, breathtaking place I have ever seen in my entire life. It felt like a once-in-a-lifetime experience that no typical tour could ever match. Igor’s Bed and Breakfast is not just a place to sleep—it’s a place where you feel like family, where you’re embraced with warmth, generosity, and unforgettable memories. It was a completely unmatched experience, and I will forever treasure the time we spent there.

Positive: The views, food and the hosts are the best part about this place, I booked one night and ended up staying two. Delicious food made by Gowar (sorry if spelling is wrong) and an amazing evening spent with the couple. We spoke using google translate and it was no obstacle, if you want to experience true Armenian hospitality this place is an experience on its own. Homemade wine and vodka, homegrown food and lots of love. If I come back to Armenia in the future I will go out of my way to visit and stay with them. Igor also took my hiking and showed me the best spots in the area, I highly recommend! Also comfy beds and very clean.

Positive: Everything was perfect. The hosts are adorable people that will do everything to make you feel like home. They provided food and made me taste their homemade vodka that was delicious. The accommodation is very clean and has every amenity needed. It was a perfect stopover on my hike from Goris to Tatev.

Positive: The view from Igor’s terrace, and his knowledge of the local area is outstanding. Igor and his wife are both so friendly, welcoming and even accommodated my friend who was vegetarian and made a delicious meal for us. We went on a lovely hike to Igor’s family’s old village down in the canyon and it was very picturesque. The breakfast was also magnificent. We loved staying there and would stay again any time.
