The semi-detached house ILIAS is situated on a beautiful, gentle slope, approx. 2 km west of the charming village of Aghios Mattaios and above Paramonas beach, surrounded by vineyards, pine trees and dense olive groves.
The first thing that catches the eye with this holiday home is its unusual, vibrant colour. However, the pink colour of the house and the small white columns are characteristic of the way Corfu houses are built. These are traditions from the time of the Venetians on the island.
The holiday home ILIAS is a small, pretty, well-kept summer house with two beautifully laid out terraces and a well-tended garden with flowers and citrus trees. The interior is decorated in bright, cheerful colours. Approx. 4 steps down from the living room and the open-plan kitchen, due to the slight slope of the property, is the bedroom with a beautifully wood-panelled, high ceiling and the bathroom. From the bedroom there is direct access to the covered terrace and the garden. On this side, the enclosed garden plot borders on a huge, dense olive grove with fruit trees, which is also owned by the landlord.
A narrow path through dense olive groves leads down to Paramonas beach after approx. 450 metres.

Summary: The little house in Paramonas is delightful, the garden splendid; the accommodation is perfectly equipped, and we were very appreciative of the owner's little attentions (fruit on the table, bottle of wine...) The people who look after the house (watering, cleaning etc....) were absolutely adorable and very attentive. I would like to thank them. There was just one small thing: the sofa bed that you say is in the living room is actually in the kitchen. You can't say there's a living room. It's not very important, but as it was my bedroom space (my friend slept in the bedroom)...... I would have liked a little more space. The house is very well located, the environment is wonderful, wild and calm, the sea is close by and the village of Agios Matheos a few kilometres away is charming. I really recommend it.

Summary: This stay was beautiful, house is fully equipped. It basically has everything in the kitchen in the bathroom….There is a big garden with grill and a lot of space for relax:) choosing this apartment was the best choice. There is also a beach. You can reach it in 5 mins by walk. Best choice is to reach this accommodation is to rent a car to get there:)

Summary: Amazing house and yard! Konstantina was a very gracious host and even brought us some homemade wine from her garden. Walking distance to the beach and to restaurants. The difficulty for us was finding the house as it was on an unnamed road. We'd stay here again.

Summary: The house Ilias at Paramonas is wonderful. In fact it was even better then described when we booked our stay. The house is fine but it is the grounds at front and back that are so special. A small tiled patio area at the front with seating area surrounded by plants and flowers, then the big garden at the rear can be accessed along the side of the house, or directly via a balcony from the bedroom. The garden is split into sections: an area with paths around the trees, shrubs and flowers, then a section with two wonderful hammocks, before a third area with a large barbeque, table and chairs (as well as swings for children and sun loungers). It is just a 10 minute stroll down to the beachfront where there are two tavernas, and after that you can return to the balcony at the back of the house for beer/wine as the garden becomes a different magical place when the lights hidden amongst the plants are switched on. We had a wonderful time. But beware of the last 2 or 3 kilometres of the approach road - it is very uneven in places with many potholes. But it is well worth the effort.

Summary: The pictures of the house do not do it justice-it is much prettier inside and out. It had everything we needed and was just a short walk to the beach and a really great restaurant called Skala. Lovely stay.

Summary: Ein süßes kleines Haus mitten im Olivenhain, aber trotzdem in Strandnähe, also wunderschön gelegen. Eine sehr nette Vermieterin. Das Schlafzimmer ist wunderschön, auch der Außenbereich. Wenn man zu viert anreist, ist tatsächlich wenig Platz vorhanden (Stauraum, Essplatz). Trotzdem sehr charmant und für uns perfekt gelegen als Ausgangspunkt für Stranausflüge an der Südwestküste, die uns durch geringeren Tourismus am besten gefallen hat.

Summary: Die Unterkunft ist nicht ganz leicht zu finden. Die Vermieter sind sehr lieb und gastfreundlich. Die Unterkunft ist sauber, sehr gut ausgestattet und hat einen tollen Garten und die Gartendusche bei den Temperaturen war das beste. Einziger Kritikpunkt: von dem Einzelhaus-Charakter war leider nichts zu spüren, da die andere Haushälfte bereits ausgebaut und ebenfalls an Gäste vermietet war. Für mich war Einzelhaus ein Auswahlpunkt der leider nicht zutraf und wir hatten teilweise Laute Nachbarn, von den griechischen Vermietern die zwischendurch nachts gut Krach gemacht haben noch abgesehen. Gesamt hatten wir dennoch einen sehr schönen Urlaub dort. Ohne Fortbewegungsmittel würde ich es keinesfalls empfehlen, da zu abgeschieden.
