Positive: Very cute, in town, small house. Backyard set up with comfortable furniture, bbq extends the areas to congregate if the weather allows. Nice neighborhood. Rules of the house are well communicated.

Negative: Bedrooms are a bit small. Limited storage. Fine for a short stay.

Positive: Every detail & every amenity is carefully & abundantly provided. The 3 of us found this home to be attractive, comfy, and very pleasant to hang out in at the end of a long, fun day of hiking and walking. The location is super, too, insofar as it takes about 15 min. walk to just about anywhere you want to hike, eat, or shop! Thank you, Darlene! We will return!! Even the items I mention in the "What didn't you like?" section did not diminish our enjoyment of this impressive vacation spot! We recommend this home!

Negative: While all 3 bedrooms are very comfortable with lots of comfy beds & pillows (and 2 are en-suites), there are 2 things that I would offer as food for thought for the front, downstairs bedroom. 1. It is important to know that this home is on East 9th street. This is a busy street. The front bedroom faces and is close to East 9th street. I brought my portable white noise machine and it helped. A fan could help, as well. 2. The cars' lights on East 9th St. shine in frequently through the window right next to the bed. One pair of light-blocking curtains for that front bedroom window would be wonderful and very much appreciated.

Positive: It had everything you needed

Negative: If I had to be critical, 2 of the beds were very creaky, every time I moved in the bed I woke. My brother was upstairs and ended up sleeping on the couch. Other than that the house was fantastic.. it had absolutely everything needed.

Summary: It had excellent facilities and accessories in the house. Barbecue area was really nice.

Positive: We had a fantastic stay at this wonderful place while dropping off our son at CSU Chico. Its proximity to the campus was incredibly convenient, just as we had hoped. The well-equipped kitchen was a highlight, and the attentive host ensured our every need was met. Highly recommended for anyone visiting the university or downtown Chico!

Negative: Our stay was nearly perfect, with the only regret being the scorching weather that kept us from enjoying the BBQ in the gorgeous backyard; it was August and 108 degrees. Despite this, the overall experience was still delightful and memorable.
