Positive: Ibis Budget a tad far from city centre and not the easiest to access but solvable with the included baselcard and how basel is well connected. You can ask for a tool to open window for ventilation if needed.

Negative: I banged my head on the upper bed. Ouch. I booked another room but got this but not a downer. The toilet is oddly hard to find haha, but indeed in your room. No coffee etc in room, purchasable downstairs (a shame)

Positive: Great location, easy to walk or take a tram or bus. Close to the main train station. Room looked exactly as in the pictures, room size was ok, the room was clean and the hotel wasn't noisy at all although it is quite big with many rooms on the same floor. With Basel card from the hotel we could use the public transportation for free. Staff in the hotel were very friendly and our room was ready in the morning when we arrived. This was a very pleasant experience.

Negative: Not too much to add here. Everything worked out well. Plug solution was a little challenging to use, when charging more than one phone - that wasn't possible with our phone chargers.

Positive: The location was good and very accessible by tram. The breakfast was disappointing if I am being completely honest. Very basic and lack of hot food. The staff at the breakfast room was very welcoming and friendly.
