Positive: We stayed 1 night and it was simply amazing. The staff is very friendly and they welcomed us in a warm and beautiful way. The place also is very peaceful and we enjoyed the dinner at the restaurant of the property. Super! Recommended for those seeking relax!

Positive: Set on a cliff overlooking the Dardanelles, Intepe Poseidon offers a spectacular view of the Mediterranean and its shipping lanes, along with the mountain peaks of distant Greek islands. The rooms are large and comfortable, and the breakfast room cum restaurant overhead offers wholesome Turkish fare. The staff are particularly friendly and helpful. For instance, although no beer was available to tired and thirsty customers, the manager immediately drove off to the nearby village to get some, which was much appreciated by his guests in Adirondack chairs overlooking the sea below.
Negative: The entrance to reception is unmarked, the grounds are mostly wild, and the path down to a mere six guest rooms underneath the restaurant is unpaved, consisting mostly of grass and loose gravel. First impressions are not inspiring; one recalls summer camps in weathered cabins. Apart from the scenic location, the immediate surroundings could leave visitors doubtful of their choice, at least until they set foot in the comfortable and well appointed rooms.
Summary: The breathtaking view of the sea below compensates for the haphazard nature of the landscaping.

Positive: The room was spacious, the shower had good pressure, our hosts was friendly and accommodating and breakfast was delicious and plentiful.
Negative: The grounds/gardens could use a little more attention. It’s such a beautiful view, it could be even better with a little more grounds upkeep.
Summary: We enjoyed our stay and appreciated the warm hospitality.

Positive: This one of the best places we stayed at in Turkey. Cozy is the word: it is a very lovely, family owned boutique hotel between çanakkale and troy, making it very easy to reach both places by car. There is a fantastic view directly on the strait of dardanelles. The owner and family are very lovely and offer a homemade dinner and massive turkish breakfast (with eggs) and while in a convenient place, it’s out of the most touristy areas. Fair warning: you’ll need a car to reach it.
