Positive: Very friendly and helpful owner, who made lovely meals and spoke excellent English. Very comfortable and well-equipped room. Location was very accessible by car (or bike if we'd had one). A great location for touring the area. Excellent value for money.

Negative: Location was some way from the Lake on foot (a pretty unremarkable 30-minute walk to the nearest part of the lake; which was an area dominated by campsites). Though similar properties closer to nice parts of the lake would have been much more expensive. .

Summary: A very friendly, hospitable base for touring the area by car.

Positive: Hygge Lodge was an amazing stay. We only booked one night but added a second night on because we just couldn’t get enough of this beautiful place. Sophia goes above and beyond for you. She makes you feel so welcome and her place is impeccable. I just cannot say enough about our wonderful stay!

Positive: You could really tell that the owner put a lot of love and attention to everything. It really is ‘hygge’! Everything is in the right place, it’s super cozy and really comfortable. Beautiful garden too. From the first second we were there we felt welcome and at home. Just perfect!

Negative: Nothing to complain about. Couldn’t have done it better ourselves.
