Summary: The room was in good condition. The staff was courteous. However, my husband and I did arrive early from another country. While we do understand rules apply to early check-in, both of us are Hyatt members. Two guests who checked in at the same time as we did were told their rooms were ready, while we were told there were no rooms available for us. Then, when my husband inquired, we were told we would have to pay $60 for early check-in, which meant there were rooms available. As a courtesy, it would have been nice not to have to sit for 4 hours to wait for our room to be ready. If this is a new way to tell people to check in earlier by charging them a fee, we need to be clear. As I stated, we are both Hyatt members, and we were also told that we have a standard room, which is why we could not check in early. A room is a room. We are very disappointed with this process. Other than this check-in issue, we were satisfied.
