Positive: Staff was very good

Negative: Non skid bathtub with a rolled up bath mat at the side was very dangerous. As a 70 year old, I felt it was extremely unsafe. I won’t stay at this property again because of it.

Positive: Location is beautiful and the food and service at dinner were excellent. That's it. See below for why that's it.

Negative: Room was not what was expected - we were given a handicap room for no reason and it was a terrible location and view. The pool was crowded but what was really diappointing was on a Friday and Saturday we were told it was closing at 4:30 without reason. We expected to stay at the pool all day, and have dinner at the pool but that did not happen. Breakfast was free and was decent but not great, waitress was overworked and that worked against us. Many requests were missed. We made reservations with the front desk for dinner and when we arrived they had no record of our reservation. We had a table on the porch and the table umbrellas kept falling and scaring people. Food was well-prepared, great waiter (Milan) - I really feel that we are owed back for the resort fee since the pool was closed much of the time that we wanted it to be open and the room was dissapointing. We would have been better to stay at home.

Summary: Surprise weekend for my wife was a strike out, room, pool and service - three strikes, you're out.

Negative: Website allowed to make reservations for their main dining area for dinner on a night t h wycwere not going to be open. Accommodated by sitting us in a different lounge but also different menu. Very disappointing

Negative: Mattress was very soft. Had a crevasse that we kept rolling into. Alarm in next room apparently was set from previous guest. Went off at 5:45. Couldn't go back to sleep. Water was worked on during the night, hallway smelled lime sewage. Second time we've been here. These things were minor. This hotel is beautiful.
