Summary: The room was fairly clean but the room and corridor did not look like it had been vacuumed properly when we arrived. We had a difficult situation where neither of us could sleep because of the sound of a tumble drier at 2am. We went to speak to reception about it and they were quite rude, they agreed to switch it off. We spoke to reception again the next day and they said it wouldn't happen again, but we weren't given anything as an apology. Reception was often not attended although it says 24/7 reception and they were often watching videos etc. and not particularly helpful. On the positive side, the bed was very comfortable and the blackout curtains were effective and the air con in the room nice and strong.

Summary: Lovely garden if you pick those rooms. Very helpful and accommodating staff. Would definitely recommend staying there.

Summary: Bad smell from the stairway and corridors get into the room because of the ventilation under pressure. Smells a little like mold and humid conditions and too many perfume freshners. Friendly staff 🙂 Our solution: Open window all day

Summary: I stayed in a small single room (possibly the smallest hotel room I’ve ever stayed in - it was tiny!!), but it was clean, quiet and had a large window and lovely view. Everything I needed for a short stay! The staff was very friendly and stored my luggage for several hours since my room wasn’t ready when I arrived, which was great. There was a maze of steep stairs to get to the room, so not a great option if you have a ton of luggage or for anyone with mobility issues. The location is great just across the street from tram stops so very accessible to Amsterdam Centraal and the airport, and located near good restaurants, attractions, Vondelpark, etc. This was my second time staying there and would definitely stay again.

Summary: I really liked this hotel. Not very central central of Amsterdam but it is convenient with trams , convenience store and some restaurants near by. Staff was helpful. Room is clean, modern and good size comparing to Amsterdam standards. Also has a nice and calm garden.
