Positive: The environment, the horses and the friendly cat. The cabin was very spacious and there was a nice wood sauna which Paul kindly prepared for me. The shower was warm, good water pressure and the kitchen was well equipped.

Negative: The mattress was too thin/hard for me.

The host runs a horse farm next door, and waking up to the view of horses grazing outside the window was just magical. The cabin was already warm and prepared for my late arrival – a detail I truly appreciated in the chilly May evening. The small kitchen was well-equipped and practical – making breakfast before heading off toward the Lofoten islands was easy and comfortable. The host was very relaxed and trusting – everything was open and ready, no check-in stress, just calm hospitality.

Negative: Nothing comes to mind – it was a short but perfect stopover on my journey north.

Positive: Very welcoming hosts. The cozy house had everything needed for cooking. Beautiful nature all around, and we could see horses through the window. We even got to see the Northern Lights at night.

Positive: Small cottage on a Swedish farm in the middle of nowhere. Beautiful and perfect if you want to get away.

Negative: A light in the sauna would have been a great touch. We didn’t have a chance to use it before dark because we arrived late.
