Positive: good breakfast. Pleasant location in the Surrey Hills. I didn't take the evening meal so can't comment on the resto.

Positive: Room has an amazing vibe, clean, decent view and easy secure parking.

Negative: Sound proof is not great. Staff/owner watching loud TV and laying down in the reception area next to the entrance door was awkward and uncomfortable as well as rude and unwelcoming. This was unexpected negative experience taking in consideration previous reviews which I checked prior to booking and influenced my choice to stay here. There are better and and cost effective options nearby.

Negative: When we get back to the hotel about 10:45pm we were locked out, along with about 8 other guests who arrived just after us. The lock on the door appeared to be double locked. One of the other guests managed to get into the hotel via an open window and let the rest of us in. What was also worrying was that there were no staff on site and no one answering ether of the two numbers we were given for the hotel.
