Positive: Lovely location and very quiet. Quaint village. Great room with comfortable bed, excellent shower, tea, coffee, hot chocolate and biscuits. Lots of choice for breakfast. We had a full english and a vegetarian option, both excellent. Ate in the restaurant next door in the evening. Lovely food here too. All the staff were helpful and friendly.

Negative: We liked everything.

Positive: Fantastic stay at The Hurtwood Hotel, and the Hurtwood Inn. Friendly staff, nothing too much trouble, beautiful room, spotless comfy beds, gorgeous food. Felt very at ease. Will definitely return

Positive: Very clean and comfortable. Staff were really friendly. Room was spacious with a lovely shower. Coffee machine, biscuits and fresh milk were a nice addition. .

Negative: Food in the pub wasn't great, burger felt cheap for what we paid. Pub didn't have the cozy country feel we hoped it would. Breakfast wasn't great, pancakes were swimming in syrup and the cooked breakfast was nice but came out cold and needed to be reheated. Outdoor areas/exterior seemed a little tired.

Positive: It is in a lovely pictureseque countryside setting. The staff are very friendly and welcoming. The bed was very comfortable.

Negative: The air freshener in the room was very over powering and the smokers from outside smell still wafted in.

Positive: Room has an amazing vibe, clean, decent view and easy secure parking.

Negative: Sound proof is not great. Staff/owner watching loud TV and laying down in the reception area next to the entrance door was awkward and uncomfortable as well as rude and unwelcoming. This was unexpected negative experience taking in consideration previous reviews which I checked prior to booking and influenced my choice to stay here. There are better and and cost effective options nearby.
