Positive: Cosy cottage with traditional features and modern decor in a great location. Lovely kitchen and living space, well equipped and clean. Ideally situated for visiting family in Gillingham 20 minutes away.

Negative: Parking could be an issue when unloading bags and cases but no parking restrictions, so just have to be lucky to find a spot. Would have benefited from a second toilet and more wardrobe space ideally if staying longer (large space between bedroom and bathroom, with seating area, table and highchair which may be ideal for some guests but seems a wasted space in my view). The beds are not the most comfortable for us but okay for a few nights stay. Cottage within walking distance of a pub which doesn't serve food, which is a shame. Unable to use log burner as it did not appear to be in use, (no logs). Saying that, the cottage itself is a lovely property in a great location of Stalbridge, and we would consider staying again when visiting family.
