Positive: Everything. Staff is very friendly, food in the restaurants is really tasty, underwater restaurant 5.8 design and food is fantastic, SPA massage is out of this world, ocean villa is clean and spacious. This trip is memory for life. Our personal butler Elisa was very professional, top service, bravo! Personal waiter Muhalil is kind and attentive. Faiz personal room keeper is a master of his job. By the way, deejay night was super enjoyable.

Negative: Some minor recommendations: Evenings besides deejay day were not entertaining. I could not observe any entertainers during the day. Outside tables for breakfast and dinner in the main restaurant are hard to get, maybe increase their number.

Summary: Great choice for the couple stay! Amazing experience!

Positive: beautiful location. apparently it was 97% capacity but it felt spacious and hardly saw anyone. whole resort was stunning inside and out. staff addressed us by our names and couldn't do enough. amazing food. amazing service. Yum was our host and so nice, Dilan the bar manager also couldn't do enough.

Negative: nothing.

Positive: Everything was perfect. We were cared for from our arrival in Male until check in for our international flight back. Sea plane transfer was very easy. As soon as you arrive in the villa they bring you snorkel gear to keep the whole duration of the stay, such a nice attention. The water villa is large, well equipped, very clean, with a large terrace and direct access to the beautiful lagoon, and you can snorkel to the reef where we've seen everything we could dream off: endless colourful fishes, turtles almost every day, sharks, sting rays, a moray eel, and a big octopus that changes colour!! amazing. We also did the manta rays excursion and saw 3 feeding, this was breathtaking. There is a marine biologist who ensures the reef stays protected and the hotel is very eco friendly with no plastic. The food was great at all restaurants. 5.8 is an experience not be missed!

Negative: If I am very fussy, the water pressure in the shower could be stronger, and the bed was too soft for our taste as well as the pillows, but nothing that would prevent us from coming back! Now, and this is more serious, as mentioned by other reviewers, a few weeks after booking I received fraudulent messages IN the booking.com messaging app, asking me to confirm my card details. I almost fell for it as it was sent in the booking.com app (!!), after "real" communication with the hotel, so it seemed totally legit; it was saying I had to re enter my card details or the booking would be cancelled. I clicked on the link, which took me to an exact replication of my booking summary, with the correct dates, price etc. Fortunately, all the IT security training from work kicked in and I suddenly had a doubt, the urgency was weird. I called booking.com (who couldn't care less but told me to do nothing "just in case") and emailed the hotel who replied the hadn’t sent it. The issue was that I kept receiving those fakes messages for weeks, that was quite distressing as I didn't know who was real or not anymore, and neither booking.com nor the hotel seemed to care. I clearly was not the only one targeted, so the hotel was obviously aware of the threat; I would have expected them to inform all guests in advance of the possibility of such an elaborated phishing attempt and tell clients not to click on any link, instead of trying to elude the problem with vague replies. I would also have appreciated a member of the management team acknowledging this issue to me when I arrived, and explain the steps they had taken to secure their system, to reassure me that that would not happen again in case I want to come back. Fortunately, the excellent stay we had and the kindness of the amazing staff negated this bad pre-stay experience!

Positive: My husband and I went here on our honeymoon trip and were beyond happy with the experience. The food was absolutely phenomenal, everyone who worked there was extremely friendly and helpful and you can tell the aim is to make sure every guest has the best experience. One thing I did not realize before traveling is how amazing their house coral reef is!! If you love snorkeling you MUST go here! I also got the best massage of my life at their spa...

Negative: After a week on the island the only thing we did not like was the kayak you could rent for an hour as it didn't have back support. Considering that was the only thing we didn't love, I consider it a successful trip!

Positive: Beautiful resort, amazing staff, excellent food, lots of facilities and activities, always clean, great attention to detail. It's a lot of money and we were overwhelmed with choices when trying to decide which resort but we feel we made the best decision and wouldn't hesitate to choose Hurawalhi again.

Positive: My husband and I had a splendid honeymoon at Hurawalhi🩷 the ocean was beautiful (we saw baby sharks 4 times!) And the food was incredible. Our butler Maudey was very responsive and sweet as well! The island is quite remote from the main island, but it's worth going there to have our own time :)
