Summary: John is an amazing host, feeding the Alpacas is the best bonus you could get. Breakfast was perfect. Just a great place to stay.

Summary: It was magical. We sat out on the back patio to watch the sheep and the alpacas, playing guitar. The owner of the super friendly. I wish we could have spent more time and conversation. The facility looks brand new, everything being really high-end.

Summary: My room was clean and comfortable, and the shared kitchen was well equipped. Feeding the alpacas was fun. The only drawback for people without a car, is that there is nowhere nearby to buy food for cooking.

Summary: We absolutely loved our stay here. After spending the day along the Dunedin coastline in strong winds, it was such a relief to return to a calm, warm, and peaceful setting. Even though it’s only about 20 minutes from Dunedin, it feels like a completely different world — tucked into a beautiful valley surrounded by hills with stunning scenic views. The accommodations were excellent: a spacious, comfortable room, a delicious fresh homemade breakfast, and truly friendly, welcoming staff who made us feel right at home. A special bonus was the chance to feed the farm animals — including alpacas and sheep — which made the experience even more memorable and added a charming, authentic countryside touch. The price was very reasonable for the quality of the experience. We would happily stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Summary: Very friendly host, loved the after-breakfast feeding for the farm animals (including the chicken that thinks it's a sheep). Everything and everywhere was spotlessly clean. Relaxing spaces in the outdoors area (Room 1 has a fab farm view and access to the outdoors). Towels were a little scratchy but shower was hot with great water pressure.
