Summary: I arrived super late from a flight into LGA and drove up 2hrs to check in right before midnight. I was worried a small hotel like this in a small town would be closed, and not only were the doors open, they left an envelope for me with my name on it with my room key. Crisis averted! THANK YOU!

Summary: Had a very nice two nite stay in July to celebrate wedding anniversary. We visited Hunter, Hunter Mountain and Tannersville. I was very impressed with the cleanliness of the room and hotel. Views were amazing, make sure you request a room that faces the mountains and not the parking lot! The restaurant and staff were very accommodating, the dish I had was so/so but I'm sure in time the chef will work out the new menu. There's a fantastic German restaurant in Hunter, be sure to stop there and visit downtown Hunter as well, it's just as cute as Tannersville. I would recommend this hotel.

Summary: Our room was clean and nicely decorated. The bed was comfortable and the sheets were nice. I would stay here again! I recommend getting a room facing the mountain, it is worth the upgrade. The only two issues were 1. The couch in the room was the most uncomfortable couch I’ve ever sat on. It was aesthetically nice for the room but rock hard. 2. The breakfast didn’t include any gluten free options. As someone who has to be GF, it would have been nice to have an option for breakfast without having to leave the hotel. Otherwise, it was great. Everyone working there was nice and professional.

Summary: This is a cute place to stay with a pleasant, rustic lobby that features board games and an appealing library. Our room also had some books, which was a nice touch. The hotel was clean and staff were friendly. Comfy beds, though I wish our room had had a chair. There was a firepit out back with the fire going. The hotel is dog-friendly and has ample space out back for walking, though when you check in, you are required to sign an agreement stating that you won't leave your crated dog alone in the room, which is something travelers, particularly solo travelers, may need to do. And get dinner somewhere else! The onsite restaurant has a small menu of mediocre food for astronomical prices.
