Summary: House and room were beautiful, hosts were generous with their time and their hospitality. Dog friendly, too. Everything was better than we could have expected - very strong recommendation for this very pleasant home and fantastic hosts (and their dogs)!

Summary: We had an outstanding time. The owners greeted us outside to welcome us in. Very nice people. Our room was spacious, bed was very comfortable and clean. We loved the charm and history of the home. Coffee and breakfast was delicious. Great place to stay, beats a hotel by a mile. We can’t wait to go back!!!

Summary: My first bnb experience and it was excellent. I was in Madison attending my niece’s wedding at Boma Lodge nearby. Breakfasts were enjoyable along with meeting the other guests. Owner Dan was especially friendly and accommodating, especially when I arrived late the first evening. I enjoyed our conversations and his generosity regarding our shared interest in music. Very clean and comfortable room with its own bathroom and shower. I will definitely stay at Hunter House in the future as needed and recommend it to anyone needing a comfortable bnb in the area. Wonderful owners Dan and Sallilee- thank you for a great stay on my first bnb experience!

Summary: I stayed here for one night with my two daughters and my two puppies. Sally and John were more than welcoming and treated us all as if they had known us for years! The room we stayed in was amazing. We were treated like family and the breakfast the following morning was amazing! John makes an amazing omelette! If you like them spicy, even better! The neighbors are very friendly and the neighborhood is very quiet and safe. My puppies got plenty of attention from everyone! Highly, highly, HIGHLY recommend staying at Hunter House B&B
