Positive: Great location, lovely cottage with a river at the back of the garden which was amazing. Everything you need is there, great shower 😁 very dog friendly there’s even towels for them !!

Negative: Nothing we had a great weeks stay.

Positive: The location is great for walking into the village center. The bus stop is just up the road and the train station is a ten min walk. Great base for exploring the area. Lovely and quiet at night time and cozy. A home away from home. The parking is a bit tricky but I would suggest parking just over the road on the other side of the burn out the back lane as it is close enough and more accessible. A very enjoyable stay overall.

Positive: For the purpose of my stay the cottage was fine. The location was good and the parking was useful.

Negative: Concerns I had included: The window / window frames being buckled/loose in the main bedroom and living room. It wasn't possible to fully close or lock them. General 'visible' cleanliness was ok but a deeper clean is over due.

Summary: Good for the purposes of my work trip.

Positive: The location was ok. Had a washing machine which we needed.

Negative: No towels out so I looked and could only find scruffy ones. All appliances old. Lukewarm shower if heating is on, warmer if not. Double bed mattress soft and dips in middle. Business opposite makes a lot of noise and overlooks windows.

Positive: Everything we could have wanted was there. Location was good being only 2.5 miles via a footpath to Hadrian’s Wall path. Outdoor seating area was pretty. Nice planters full of colour
