Summary: It is a great home to stay in for several evenings. We enjoyed the hot tub, fire pit, jacuzzi tub, swing set, and a pleasant walk to the creek. The view was beautiful. We compared it to others we almost rented, and the way it faced the mountain was ideal. We love that it had yard space to explore and breathe. There was plenty of space to relax while the kids roamed around. It felt very safe.

Spending Christmas here with our family was magical—there’s something special about being surrounded by nature, with the crackling of the fireplace and the rustic charm of the cabin.The peaceful surroundings made it the perfect place to unwind and make lasting memories. The cabin was spacious enough for all of us, yet intimate enough to bring everyone together.We truly couldn’t have asked for a better spot to spend the holiday season. It was a 10/10 experience, and we’re already talking about possibly returning in the future. Highly recommend!

Summary: This cabin is absolutely stunning. The views are gorgeous. This cabin is everything it shows it is and more. We had a large family group and it was wonderful to be able to all sit together in family gathering areas, but still have separate space when needed. The owners are fantastic and respond very quickly when questions come up. We will absolutely be back and would highly recommend this to anyone looking for family gathering vacation.

Summary: House is very well equipped with all kitchen gadgets /entertainment devices / beds / couches / patio furniture ..: Owner Markus responds very quickly to all queries . The only issue was grocery / pharmacy are not close by ..but we enjoyed our stay totally .. I would definitely recommend this for a big group

Summary: As a large family group this Chalet was perfect. The evening visit from the 🐻 and her cubs was a delight to watch. If I were to have any complaints, it would be that all bedrooms weren't directly connected to bathrooms. That's just a personal preference. The Chalet is absolutely beautiful and the owners were so awesome to work with. I can see a future booking for us there.

Summary: We’ve been to Big Bear Lodge with our family multiple times. This house is perfect for a large group. Markus & Annie are excellent host. I highly recommend this house or their others. They make sure their homes are in excellent condition and have the amenities you want while on vacation.
