Positive: Excellent stay at Wild Rose. We were a family of 4 with parents over 65 years of age. Faizan bhai and Ameen chacha took great care of us. They made our stay so comfortable. Firstly, they made sure that we were warm inside, put bukharas in our bedrooms and placed hot water bags inside the blankets. They made us a hearty meal for dinner which was pretty good in taste. They arranged a shikara ride for us after checking in and we had a great time chatting with Faizan bhai in the evening. The interior of the houseboat was very pretty with intricate decorations and a cozy atmosphere. Overall, a perfect stay for 4 people for a night and extremely helpful staff.

Positive: The room on the Houseboat was classic and charming. Although it is an old boat, the shower had hot water. It is a little far from the busy areas, which may seem inconvenient, but it was quiet and had a nice atmosphere, and I slept well. And the staff were very friendly and I received a warm welcome. They also helped me with sightseeing, so I had a great trip.

The hospitality of Ibrahim and Faizan was beyond expectations — they made us feel completely at home. They also organized a 5-night, 6-day trekking adventure in the Himalayas, which turned out to be one of the most memorable experiences of my life. Everything was perfectly arranged, from the routes to the campsites, and the food throughout was simply delicious. The houseboat itself is charming, with a blend of traditional Kashmiri style and modern comfort. Waking up to serene lake views every morning was magical. The warmth, care, and personal attention from Ibrahim and Faizan truly made this stay unforgettable. Thank you both for such a wonderful experience. Positive: The type of accomodation, being on a boat and the location somewhere in the Dal lake far from city noise. The boat ride to place it takes you thru the nice Dal lake landscape that is so peaceful. Faizan and the rest of the stuff were sociable and very helpful and knowledgeable. I fully recommend then for finding more about the aria and what can be done around.

Positive: I stayed for two nights. The houseboat is amazing and is located very quite appr. 15min from the riverfront in a field of Lotusplants. Faizan and his Family and staff were super friendly and did everything to feel you like home and comfortable. The food was very delicious and they help you whereever they can to arrange daytrips and so on. Thank you very much for the nice stay

Positive: I had booked Wildrose house boat for a day but ended up extending my stay for a week. This is an ideal place where you can reset your mind , body and feel rejuvenated. Early morning view . Slice of nature peeping at you from the window is what I will miss the most. The family is so welcoming and especially Faizan who even chalked out a weeks itenary with the best places in and around that could be seen. The visit to local places and the mountains was a surreal experience. The food was excellent and I can vouch for it. They even customize it to suit your taste buds.The local tea is something I fell in love with. All in all it was a very memorable stay..I wish I could stay more. I can only request one and all to not go by what is put out there in the media. Kashmir is a beautiful place with even more beautiful people at its core. It is absolutely safe heaven. I will ever be so grateful to the family for making my stay in the boat house a never to forget experience. I will be back soon and that I am sure of. 🙏
