There is very little noise here; no cars, no pollution. The view is incredible. From the house's veranda you can sit and stir at the first Cycladic islands, the island of Kea and sometimes the island of Andros. The port of Rafina where ferries depart daily for Andros, Tinos, Mykonos, Paros ad Naxos can be seen right in front of you, together with the edge of Athens International airport deep to the right. From the north side you will have Athens right in front of you.
We are close to several landmarks. Several beaches are 10-30 minutes away by car: Zouberi, Nea Makri, Artemida, Marathon to name just a few. The monastery of Daou is 5 minutes by car. Valanaris falls are circa 5 minutes by car (you can also reach both on foot). Attica zoo (the biggest in the Balcans with over 400 species) is 10-15 minutes car drive. The shopping discount village of Mc Arthur Glenn is also 10 minutes by car. Athens city center is a 35-minute car drive max via Attica Avenue (Toll fees apply). You can reach the underground station in 20 min. and park your car there; by taking the underground you can reach most parts of Athens in 20-50 min. Numerous coffee diners, super markets, gyms, pharmacies and other points of interest are 7-15 min. by car. Also, the old St Efraim’s monastery in Nea Makri (25 min. car driving). There is also the Tomb of Marathon (20 min.). And finally, the port of Rafina is just 10 minutes’ drive.
The house is excellent. 130 sq. m. in total, elevated, with separate entrances either through the stairs or through the house's elevator that can be accessed via the private internal garage. The garage can also be used for parking your own car. At the house's exterior veranda you will find a sitting area, a table and a couch with two chairs from natural rattan sitting six people and under the shadow for most of the day. There is also a glass table at the edge of the veranda which gets more sun and you can sit there and enjoy your breakfast. The veranda has a private 26 sq. m. pool with a depth of 1.5-2.10 meters with two sun beds, a small couch for two people and a glass table that sits six people .
Entering the living room you cannot help but notice the beautiful decoration made with the special taste of Mrs. Vasiliki. A dining table, two sofa beds, big LED SMART TV with satellite channels and Netflix. The living room connects with a fully equipped kitchen: a double compartment fridge-freezer, a stove a microwave oven and a dish washer, not to mention cooking utensils and cutlery. There is a dining room.There is also a washing machine and a tumble dryer for your clothes. The house has Wi-Fi connection to connect online from anywhere.
Going past the living room you will find three double bedrooms. One bedroom comes with an en suite bathroom with WC and a shower cabin. There is also a second toilet. All three bedrooms come with a double bed; one of the bedrooms is also equipped with a desk area.
The house is air-conditioned and also comes with heating.
The house is ideal for hiking in nature, for climbing the mountain of Penteli, and following a hiking trail that reaches the sea.
If you choose Athens as your destination anytime from Spring to Autumn, Peggy's villa is a great choice for those wishing to avoid a suburban stay with all the usual drawbacks and choose a place with great views not far away from major points of interest.

Summary: 25 mins from airport, Satnav sent us up dirt roads so called the villa owner and she came to escort us using better roads. It is high in the hills so be warned. The first time I saw the steepest road I was very worried, after a few times it wasn't so bad. The villa itself is a little remote, no nearby shops you need to drive 10 mins into Pikermi for food shop etc. We found the Designer Shopping Village 15 mins away and that had everything we needed, supermarket, clothes, restaurants etc. The villa itself is fantastic, private pool, plenty of shady places to sit outside. Aircon throughout. Full amenities incl. dishwasher, washing machine and tumble dryer. TVs in all rooms, Netflix available and Amazon Prime if you log in with your own details. Amazing views too. The hosts live in the 2 floors above and were lovely, Peggy gave us a walkthrough when we arrived and was around if we needed her. She gave us details of a food delivery app which we found very handy. We used cabs to get to the Metro at Pellini when we wanted to get to Athens but didn’t want to drive. I loved everything about it, spending my days dipping in and out of the pool with a bit of reading in between. Popping out for dinner in Rafina or to the shopping village. My husband gets a little more restless and would have liked to be able to walk to local shops etc so felt a little housebound at times. Overall fantastic villa, if a little out of the way.

Summary: We had an amazing stay at Peggy's villa, everything is as described, owners are on hand if needed but not at all intrusive, villa was impeccably clean and had everything we needed. Location was great for us, out of the way and quiet but not far from shops, amenities and attractions when required. A car is required to venture out but we could get to most places we wanted to visit within 10 to 30 minutes max. The pool was great, well maintained and the kids loved it. All in all we had a great time and would highly recommend Peggy's villa to anyone.

Summary: Beautiful house, amazing view and great pool. Perfect for families. Hospitality beyond excellent, the owners were great waited for us at the airport despite issues with car rental , almost 3 hour delay, and escorted us to the property. They were able to purchase food for us as per our request, again over and beyond just a regular stay. We were also greeted with a fresh watermelon. They were also always there when needed and very helpful with questions and other request we had. Rooms spacious, clean and airconditioned, some night widows could be opened. Loved the little outside sitting area, beautiful and relaxing! I would recommend it to anyone that is looking to stay away from city noise in relaxing and beautiful atmosphere.

Summary: We had a really nice and lovely trip. Our flight had a delay, but that was no problem and the welcome was really nice. We were showed around and got a few helpfull infos about the Surroundings. The house was clean, the kitchen complete equipped and the view was amazing! The pool was great and a nice refreshment after a long day. If we got up early enough, we could even watch the pool being cleaned by the robot, which was really funny for us. At the end the week we were relaxed and happy about such a good home and such nice and lovely owner. Thank you very much for the nice stay!
