Summary: Annette and Claude could not do enough for us - extremely welcoming! The house is very clean, as were the pool and hot tub. Cannot fault the house or its location, which was 30 minutes from Colmar, under an hour to Europa Park, and under an hour to Freiburg too.

Summary: Our family with 2 children age 10 and 12 really enjoyed our stay in this lovely house. It has all the facilities and equipment you need and a lovely pool and hot tub in a peaceful setting. The children also loved collecting the eggs from the chickens every morning. The hosts, Manual and Claudia were very friendly and helpful giving us recommendations for places to visit and eat. The village of Scherwiller is beautiful and well placed for visiting sights in both France and Germany.

Summary: We had a very warm welcome from the owners' parents (the owners were away on holiday) and a mid-holiday phone call from the owner to check everything was OK. Also lots of emails before and after our stay to give information and ensure that we had a good holiday. Very agreeable hosts! The house is perfect for 2 adults and 2 teenagers - spacious downstairs and upstairs, big garden with a nice pool, great outdoors eating area. We even picked peaches and raspberries in the garden! The house is ideally situated - a quiet location with views of the castle and church, yet only 2 minutes walk from the all-important bakery (which is also excellent!) Scherwiller is great in that it is on the route du vin but nowhere near as busy as say Riquewihr or Ribeauville, and just as pretty. Thoroughly recommended.
