Summary: Our stay was too short to do much exploring but the house was warm and comfortable and we would stay here again.

Summary: This home was the perfect place for a holiday to feel the real culture and history of Germany! The home was exactly as described and pictured but even better in person. The owners were the friendliest family we have met and were so helpful for our first time in Germany. They made us feel like family right away and helped us get settled in by showing us around their town of Vilmar. We speak very little German but that was not a problem as the family spoke much better English than we spoke German! We also rented bikes from the owners and they had enough bikes for all of us. (2 adults, 3 kids ages 7,9,11) That was the best part of our trip as we rode the bikes everyday between the towns to visit castles, parks and enjoy the beautiful countryside. When we booked this home we were unaware where exactly this was in Germany. But we found out this is where the local Germans go on holiday...because it is so beautiful and relaxing! This has been our favorite place to stay so far as we are traveling thru Europe. Thank you so much to Susanne and her family. One day we hope to welcome them in Maui to our home on holiday! We highly recommend this home for your holiday!!!
