Summary: Off the tourist track but with a few places for nice visits. In hot weather pool v good for children. Quirky property on outskirts of nice small town with all necessary shops. Significant road noise in main bedrooms but sofa beds in quiet air conditioned living room. Very spacious house and garden. Owner was very attentive. We had very pleasant stay with primary age children.

Summary: Really enjoyed our stay here. The house is lovely, really big and the photos do not do it justice. Great size pool and loads of places to relax in and outside. BBQ a nice touch and we used it a lot. Local village has small shops and larger supermarkets are just 10-15 mins in the car. Seb was a great host and this is perfect if you want a relaxing time away in quiet surroundings with really good facilities and lovely pool. Don't think twice about booking here!

Summary: We had such a great time staying in Varzy, quiet pretty little town with a market on Thursday for your fresh fruit and veg plus a boulangerie for the other essential croissants! The house was gorgeous with a lovely pool and outside eating area for barbecues and sunbathing. Sebastian, the owner was always nearby for advice on places to visit etc. We will return!!

Summary: We had the very best time staying at Sebastian’s in Varzy - the photos really don’t do it justice! Good location in a quiet village, there’s a decent selection of shops, a local restaurant and weekly market. We used this trip as our first family getaway in over 3 years so spent lots of time by the wonderful pool, covered deck and overlooking the very pretty garden. Good base to explore nearby Vezelay, Chablis, Clamency and Sancerre - we could have done more but the weather was great and the pool too inviting!! Sebastian was on hand if needed (particularly during a thunderstorm when we lost power which was quickly sorted out!) and was a discreet, knowledgable host. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a super relaxing stay in idyllic countryside!

Summary: The photos do not do justice to this property, It is beautifully kept and spotlessly clean, there is everything you would need to have an enjoyable and relaxing stay. The pool is wonderful on a hot day and the garden aspect is perfect to catch the last rays of a setting sun. Sebastian the host was fast and attentive when there was a problem but otherwise not intrusive. We spent many hours exploring the surrounding area where there are a lot of places to walk, the village is a lovely place to discover where there are numerous historical houses and things to find and ruins to ponder over ! The museum is well worth a visit, as is the very friendly village bar and restaurant, where the food is very good it is a must ! In all we had a fantastic three weeks in Varzy
