This comfortably furnished, single family style house is available to visitors all year. It is situated on an immense 800 sq m property surrounded by gardens, which despite its size is still centrally located. A pool assures refreshment during the summer, and on cooler summer nights, an open fireplace on the terrace assures a cosy atmosphere. In the house there is a modern air conditioning system. The Metro line M6 can take you directly into the city centre. A parking space in the garden of the holiday home is at your disposal at no extra charge. We recommend our holiday home to everyone who does not want to be confined to a narrow, expensive hotel room, but rather would like to move about freely and enjoy nature.
Location of the holiday home: The holiday home is situated in Landsberger Allee, in 12679 Berlin-Marzahn. It does not directly adjoin the street and is reached by a 40 m long private drive. Surrounded by gardens, it is peacefully situated and at the same time very well connected to the public transport network. With the Metro tram line M6, which can be reached in a 2 minute walk, you can travel directly into the city centre. It leaves every 10 minutes and takes between 15 and 25 minutes. Other shopping amenities (Lidl, Aldi, Kaisers, among others), bakeries, chemists, banks, pubs and restaurants are reached in a 5 to 10 minute walk. You can also go for a walk in the Erholungspark and look around the gardens of the world (15 minutes by foot) or wander along Berlin’s second biggest river, the Wuhle. Rock climbing is possible on an artificial cliff face. If you are sporty, then you can try to reach the top of our Kienberg, from where you will have a good view out over the eastern suburbs.
Travel connections: Arrival by car: Berliner Ring, exit Berlin Marzahn, straight on for 7km, past the Kaufpark Eiche, up until 100m before the traffic lights with the windmill (Landsberger Allee/Raoul-Wallenburg-Str). Arrival by train:stations Berlin-Zoo, Berlin-Ostbahnhof or Berlin-Lichtenburg. S-Bahn station (line S7): Springpfuhl or Marzahn, to these stops it takes just 6 minutes by Metro tram M8 or M6. M6 Metro tram stop: Landsberger Allee/Blumberger Damm, 2 minutes walk away from the holiday home, with a direct connection to the city centre in around 15 to 25 minutes. Metro M8 tram stop: Alt Marzahn, 5 minutes away from the holiday home by foot. Summary: The apartment was a nice surprise to me; it worked just fine. I needed time to seat , read, and write and the peace of the place provided that. It is a little bit retired from the center, but public transportation is excellent around the area (and in Germany in general). If you are looking for typical air-conditioned home, you might be disappointed. The pool is small, but coming to Berlin is not the place to stay in a pool. Lots of conveniences stores and supermarkets, restaurants are decent around the area. The owner does not speak English but we did not have any problem communicating with them. really nice place. The Garden is a dream!!

Summary: On the other edge of Berlin, so less noise and less crowd. Property was nice. One bedroom house. Owners were nice and helpful. Furniture was comfortable. Shower and bathroom can be improved though. Grocery store nearby, but dining not walking distance.

Summary: A lovely house with an amazing garden. Although it's a bit far from the center of the city, it's super close to trams and buses that will get you there in no time. The house was exactly as in the photos, perfect for us (a couple), our hosts were super helpful, even shared with us the fruits and flowers from their garden and stayed in touch during the hole stay. We had a great time here, and will surely stay again if given the chance.

Summary: Very nice owners. House was smaller than expected and a bit of a language barrier. Our fault for picking this cozy home but way to far from the city center and the night life will like to enjoy. Thanks for letting us us your home.

Summary: We were visiting our son and grandchild. We were not there for site seeing. So it was not important to us how close to the city center we were. It's a small house but had everything we needed. It was very clean. It was the garden that impressed us the most. It is well taken care of and has lots of shade. Very much appreciated since the summer has been very warm this year. There is a small swimming pool too. The host was friendly and helpful when needed! We can certainly recommend staying here.

Summary: A bit out of the city center, but easily accessible, it's a small house with all the facilities you need. The quite large garden is nice and well taken care of. It offers a nice, small swimming pool too. Family Hahn are very nice people, who offered us a warm welcome and pleasant stay! Would recommend!

Summary: The house is in a lovely garden with an inground pool. The only potential problem for older people is the staircase going from bedroom to bathroom at night. The owners are both helpful and pleasant, providing information about the neighborhood - which is suburban - and transportation.
